A couple of pictures to share

The first one from last night, I drove around town for 20 minutes just to take the photo. I've lost the picture I had in 2008 of the same photo in my pickup.

And this one from this morning's "quick" project.

I love how they look but they were kind of a pain to install since my clear lens would not come off. Maybe the ones from AM are higher quality, but these came off eBay for $26.

First time attempting plastidip...

From a distance, I love it. Up close, you see flaws. I didn't want the vinyl decal because the white shows through in a couple spots.

I like the plasti dip right there. I might try it on my silver vert and see if it looks as good as that

Love the car bud. Nothing more sexy than a white mustang ๐Ÿ˜Ž but seriously I love the white with the bullitt wheels. The plasti dip on the rear looks awesome. Now you just need to get some of those raxiom icon tails. That would look sweet.

I looked at around a gazillion pictures it seemed before I decided to do it. You can sort by color on AM with the decal and see a lot of silver cars with black deck lids. After doing it, I don't think I could go back, it just looks right.

Oh those Raxioms are sweet but they need to drop in price quite a bit. I try to watch eBay/CL for bargains, maybe I'll find a set there someday

Not installed yet (picture from a few nights ago) but a CL score of some louvers. Previous owner jacked up the brackets pretty good removing them, so I'm working on getting replacements.

Yes, I joined WMR a couple of weeks ago. #2309 I think? The LMR is the only discount I think I'd actually use, but you never know!

I'm looking for a place to put my decal they sent, I don't want it on my front bumper.

Sweet! I'm WMR2239. Yeah I wasn't sure about the sticker on the bumper but I kinda like it now. But I ordered a dash plaque, might just rock that after the AM show.

They send you about 7-9 different venders discount codes specific for WMR. I have not used any as of yet, mainly because I had already bought most of the stuff I would have wanted.

Louvers installed!

HUGE thanks to Alex from AM. The previous owner tore up the brackets removing them from his car and Alex got me hooked up with a set.

I wish I had snapped a shot from inside the car before I took the louvers off (that 24 hour thing is a real buzz kill). I'm definitely glad I got them!

Thanks! I am too, the more I look at it the more I wonder why I didn't get them sooner. I think Dad wants a set for his 06 GT now.

Did a little paint sniffing today and got some on my car... Purposely ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

So I was messing around eBay and looking at throttle bodies and plenums, hoping for a bargain.

I believe I found it. 75mm Accufab, I mentioned it in a different post asking questions.

I installed it tonight. At first, I thought the exhaust was louder, now I'm not so certain. Throttle seems more touchy and when I nailed it, 2nd gear scratch seems to hit a little harder. I'm curious how it will feel if I put the tuner back on.

So enough rambling, here's the install picture!

It really needs a good polishing and in a way I can't do without some kind of mechanical polisher- by hand just isn't cutting it. But since the rest of my motor/under hood isn't much to write home about, I won't lose any sleep over it.

Thank you man! And congrats on the acufab. You can clean it up easily. Just wet sand it with 1000, 1500, 2000 then hit it with mothers mag and wheel polish. You will be shocked how nicely it will look. Mirror finish.

Then you can hose off the rest of your motor lol.

I know, it needs a bath! I'm a little apprehensive about washing under the hood, COPs make me nervous and for some weirder reason I'm not wanting to wash under my old truck's hood even though I want to clean them both up! One of these days I'll get around to it I'm sure...

It's a cheap two piece bought from Amazon. Initially I was not impressed with the fit but since then I've pretty much forgotten I even put it on, so it doesn't bug me too much.

I love it when you park next to a random Mustang at Walmart and a third one joins the party!

I know I've mentioned in the S197 forums that my dad has an 06 GT... So here's a couple pictures of it. Sharp car, I'm not much on the tan interior and I think the Windows need tinted. He's the second owner, the car has less than 30,000 miles and does not see rain, mud, etc.
