Got the wheel bearings and seals in the mail. Just need some decent weather to get them installed.

Alrighty ladies and gentlemen. Finally making some sort of progress lately. I know the build has been dormant for a few months. I have ordered a bunch of stuff and will be doing one big install. I have the tires for my new bullitts on the way. Actually it would be easier to list it all.

4 tires (245/45R17 and 315/35R17 rear), Ford Racing wheel bearings and seals, mobile 1 synthetic and Motorcraft filter, Ford Racing C springs, Moog ball joints, and a set of new lug nuts. I hate always losing the key for the locking ones.

Still have the new shaved rear and new front bumpers in the guest bedroom. I think getting those painted and the trunks swapped between both of my Mustangs and painted as well will be my next priority.

Anyone running the Ford C springs with a 315/35r17? I curious if I'm going to need to flip the quads.

Okay, so I'll go ahead and flip them. I plan on going with MM control arms in the future so I'll just pull them out then.

As long as the wheel offset is correct then there shouldn't be an issue

Looks like the everything shipped out yesterday, except the two front wheels (already had the rears sitting in the guest bedroom.) Everything should be in by the end of the week. So likely next Saturday I'll start in the morning and keep going til it's done.

Going to start with the oil change and the new belt tensioner, then balljoints, springs, then axle bearings/seals. The front wheels will come mounted, so I'll need to have the 315's put on the 10.5s. At that point I'll take it for an alignment and then should be time to go for a cruise!

Also refinished the wiper arms on both Mustangs. Sanded and painted. One of the easiest and cheapest ways to freshen up their appearance.

I quick video of some of the parts I already have in, and a quick walk around. I'll be posting much more on the build as parts come in and I get stuff installed.

I did my wiper arms last spring the same way. They were all faded but they were in good shape if that makes sense. Anyway after checking prices for new ones I too decided to save some bucks and sand/paint mine. They turned out good like yours did. And I was very bored when I did it and needed a cheap "mod" fix..lol.

Working on axle bearings since this morning. Tools breaking, having to go buy new tools, everything fighting me, it's been the worst experience I've ever had doing bearings...

Passenger side axle shaft is shot. The bearing chewed it up. I got the car together enough to roll it all the way into my garage, and ordered the axle shaft. Should have it Thursday. FML.

Sitting here waiting for UPS to bring the front 2 wheels and 4 tires. They usually come around 11 so I'm hoping it's any time now. I still need to take the rears to get mounted. It is surprisingly difficult to find someone who can mount a 315. I really expected it not to be an issue.

Marc Yount Tire in Evans does all of my tires. I will not use anyone else. They are the best in the Augusta area.

Agh, still waiting on UPS. I could do the springs and ball joints today, but I think I'm going to wait for the axles to come in before I mess with everything.

The axle tubes are lighter without the axles in them.
