Where did you get/what did you have to do for the LED map lights?

Map lights are size 194. You need two. Just pop the old ones out anf put in the new ones. Dome light in the coupes is 578. Amber LED turn signals 578 and fog lights are 893. You can pick them up at some auto parts stores, or superbrightleds.com.

Something small that goes a long way to helping the car look younger. Also doing LED tail bulbs, LED 3rd brake light, and LEDs to replace the bulbs under the hood, trunk and license plate.

Sylvania bulbs actually put out less light than an OEM Ford bulb, just whiter. The blue coating on the bulb reduces overall output.

A is a silverstar, the B is an OEM style. Closest "aftermarket" bulb to an OEM original is a Philps Xtreme Vision. The silverstars and bulbs like them get all the love because the regular autostore replacement bulbs are junk and also a very aggressive marketing campaign on Sylvania's part.

Edit: If you absolutely must have the white light, I recommend an OSRAM Night Breaker which still has the blue film but it does not cover the whole bulb. Or go LED. Or a HID projector retrofit is the final solution.

Changed the plugs on my wife's mustang. There were in very bad shape. Going to replace everything under the hood, and restore it everything. I also did sone more paint work on the passenger sail.

More money, more time. Why is it I enjoy doing this stuff again?

Lol that looks like a copper plug that has been in for 100k wow... I bet that car is going to run 1000x better now.

You have any plans to buy the M112 Eaton Supercharger adapter for the little 3.8?

We had originally planned FI for both cars, but my wife had a change of heart. Her's will stay NA. And yes, it runs soo much bettet. I'm surprised it made the trip from Texas to SC on those plugs.

The only other surviving photo of my 94 3.8 from years ago. Worst car I ever owned. I'd have a hard time naming one thing that actually worked on that car, good riddens.

Nope. Home owners association would throw a fit. Not allowed to have none running vehicles, they have to be garaged.

It's definitely a trade off. I can say I don't mind not having people in the subdivision that turn their front yards into garbage dumps and junk yards. But some of the rules are ridiculous.

I also don't have to deal with knuckleheads rattling the house with their subs. I'm not impressed by your $2000 stereo in your $500 police auction Crown Victoria.

A good friend of mine has one, not a police interceptor, but still. I had convinced him to buy a Mustang a couple years ago. He traded it because he was too tall. I told him the was a lame excuse. At least I got him to stop putting huge oversized wheels on his cars.

I've gotten warnings over the noise of my last Mustang and my motorcycles at night, but I generally try my best to stay out of the throttle and keep em as quite as possible....until I leave the neighborhood.

I don't even want to live in a neighborhood next house I buy is going to be like my Parents' as far as location. 15-20 minutes out of "town" with an acre or two. No neighborhood to worry about and the country road they are on is 45mph so even if someone with a ridiculous vehicle is going by its only for a few seconds.

This is my plan as well. A semi-rural house with a large separate garage to work on cars. My wife is a go with it, just saving up for a few years now.

I think I've settled on a wheel choice for the GT. 17x9 and 17x10.5 or same setup in 18" 1995 chrome Cobras wrapped in Mickey Thompson rubber from American Muscle. The only thing I'm still torn on is the size. Do I stay with 17, or bump it up to 18? What do you guys think?

She will get a 1 1/2" drop, and think the 18's will flow better, but my last one had a 2 inch drop on 17's and it looked perfect. Agh choices choices. ..

I'd go with 18's. I had 17's on my old new edge and wished I had gone larger the whole time I had them. But, my car wasn't lowered, so I can judge there.
