Alright, so I've got the new belt tensioner, struts and shocks, smoked LED third brake light, and white gauge overlays to go in. Hoping to get them all knocked out next weekend. Still hunting down and ordering parts. This build is taking longer than the last, but I'm almost always working now so I'm not too surprised.

Getting ready to order the 4.10's, but haven't found a trust worthy shop locally, that also doesn't charge 1,000+ to install them! Seriously, that is just frickin ridiculous.

This is the overlay I bought, but not sure if I'll use them. I guess I'll see how they look installed and decide from there. I want the indiglo gauges but hours of searches only bring up the V6 version. The V8 version has just seemed to cease to exist....

If anybody knows where I can get them, I would be greatful. I'm not concerned about the cost so much, as long as it's under 300ish, I can justify it.

I bought those before, I'm looking for the full face glow gauges. I'll find a pick of the sixxer ones

I like the look of white faced gauges. If I had them I would want the numbers illuminated instead of the guage itself.

Wow, looking for the V6 one as a reference I found a site that sells the V8 version. Ilovebodykits.com has them 55 bucks shipped. Now I have to different sets of gauges. Too bad my wife's is a sixxer..

The only difference is the obvious. I personally prefer the whole face lighting than just the numbers and what not. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when I remember when Timex first came out with the indiglo lighting on some of their watches. That and I bought the one from AM for my last Mustang. First one was DOA, and the inverter for the second made a loud whining sound when on.

I really like the white gauges, brings some life to that dull cluster. I'll post some pics, hopefully the red looks good. I guess I'll post more pictures when my indiglo gauges come in and I swap those in. I probably could have cancelled the order on the first set I ordered, but I figured it's only 40 bucks. Maybe I'll see if Revvv wants em for his.

That is tempting. The white faces do give the dash some life.

I wonder if there is an option for a blue lit cluster?

There are 2 other blue ones besides the one I had on the 03. AM sells that one, and the other is the blue indiglo one I ordered after the red set, and Amazon has another version. There may be more, but I haven't looked that hard.

The only reason I mentioned blue is because I have my stereo face set to blue. The Kenwood has an infinite amount of color settings.

Haha. Yeah, there are ones for almost every color I'm sure. 10 bucks to join. They add pics of your car to their sites, and you get 2 decals. In my case they were white, and black. And a butt ton of Registry cards for you to pester people with by sticking them under the windshield wiper...wait, that's how I joined lol.

I can't wait to see the gauge face installed. That looks like it would add a nice contrast with the white.

The dark smoked 3rd brake light looks good.

I was going to spray mine with tint spray and then clear and polish it.

I sanded, prepped, and sprayed the lights with clear and then decided the spray tint wouldn't be worth it. Despite the prep I can still see white oxidation in places on the light. Rather than waste more paint I stopped. It will be better to order a smoked light.

Install took about 15 minutes, but I've done it a few times before and have it down pat. Resetting the needles is the most complicated part. Once the car is warmed up, and with a full tank of gas you can reattach the needles with the car running so they are in the right spot. I did not have to remove the speedometer or tach needles.

I did one a long time ago. The needles can be a pain.

I did mine with everything off and zeroed out.
