You're car will look a lot meaner with more meat on the ground.

Yeah, a 2" drop with 315 would look mean. I looked at some pics of the nitto 285's and they will do, maybe. I think I'll probably pick up a set of 305 Nitto/Mickey Thompson drag radials and a set of rear wheels for when she goes out to the House of Hook in Jackson.

Let me know when you hit the track.

I think that could be a nice farewell to the old tires. Just make sure to protect the paint on the rear. Hot rubber and VHT are a pain to remove.

I've got this vinyl stuff at work I can use to protect the paint. But yeah, I'm gonna light up the old ones for sure!

Okay so I just posted this pic on the rice thread, and noticed how bad my wiper arms have gotten. Hopefully Sunday I can find enough time to sand em down, put on a few fresh coats of black, and hit it with some matte clear. I'll post some pictures once I get them finished.

Use a factory satin black. Duplicolor will be your friend here.

If you don't find the paint let me know. I will take care of it for you. I am pretty sure I have some trim paint.

I thought I found you out in my part of the world until I got to the front of this car. Plus the wheels are wrong.

Actually... I kinda like them 😆😆😆 I'd never put them on mine though, stripes aren't my style.

Well, didn't race tonight. I had no pants...

I was wearing shorts so the wouldn't let me run. And Revvv needs some clutch work. Wasn't out there long, but almost no one could get any traction. I'll post a couple videos when I get em up loaded.

The track was pathetic tonight. I left when a Vega decided to paint the wall.

I may be looking for an entire tr3650. I am hoping the noise is a throw out bearing, but it's hard to say. If I need a trans I may be begging for donations. The car was never supposed to be my DD, but it is.

Awsome. Mustang got hit again in the parking lot while I was at work. I just got the damn thing back! Insurance is taking care of me. Though I can't take the damn thing to Mustang Week because it'll be in the shop, again. This has been the worst God awful Monday I've had in many years.

...but you get a new, non embossed bumper cover, new paint on the trunk, cover, and likely a blend, buff and polish on the car. ...and new tail lights.

I do carry full coverage through USAA. They are dealing with the other drivers insurance for me. I've got the car scheduled to be inspected tomorrow. A lady who admittedly couldn't drive her husbands truck backed into it. And I had gone out of my way to park way away from everyone else.

Sucks that the first day of vacation is going to be spent dealing with getting this car squared away. Couldn't be worst timing. 2 days before Mustang week, looks like I'm not going this year.

You can still make it by the end of the week if the shop gets busy ordering parts.

Not gonna worry about it. I can miss going this year, as long as I make it back next year. Besides, now I've got some extra time to clean the carbs on the Suzuki and see if I can get that bike back on the road. It may also get painting this week. Your more than welcome to give me a hand prepping the fairings for paint...

I have spray guns. If I have the material in hand I can spray the bike. I'm not looking forward to stripping the tank, but that is just part of the job.

Yeah, you can count me in for help with the Suzuki. I have already warned one of the bike techs I know that I may be kidnapping him.

I am having wisdom teeth removed Thursday, but I should be back to myself again by Fri night or Sat.

Alright, so new plan of attack. I just ordered the GT rear bumper without "Mustang" embossed on it, and a new front bumper. I'm going to switch the trunk lid on my GT with the spoiler for the one on my sixxer without the spoiler, and have all three pieces painted. I'm just getting into a a 3+week of consecutive work days so as usual my time is incredibly limited. Hopefully the bumpers come in quickly so I can get everything dropped off for painting relatively soon.

It'll look much sleeker. I prefer a nice clean look. No underglows or stupid big wings for me.

You know that you will be running 40" LED rims, neons under the car, a huge wing that engulfs a Cobra R, and gold plated emblems.

Once I have the full pile of parts I'm going to install everything at once. It will be a huge transformation all at once. Should be a night a day difference. I just need to find someplace to put all these parts and boxes until I'm ready to install everything!

Ok so I have the bumpers supposed to be here tomorrow, and I should also have wheels showing up in a couple days. I'm excited to have my little pile of parts grow into a big pile of parts this week. Still have a while bunch of shopping to do.
