Should I Buy Accel Fuel Injectors?

I'm looking to replace my stock fuel injectors, as a couple have gone bad and they look like junk. I saw that AM.com has Accel Injectors for $300. These are for the 19 Lb/hr ones, which I believe is the same rate for the OEM (pink) injectors.

Has anyone had any experience with these? They seem tempting for the price (considering Ford wants $240 for each individual one), but I heard questionable things about Accel products in general, notably I've bought their coils before and they made my car slower.

Well individual ones from Ford are actually $85... at least from Rockauto. But that's still lulzy prices.

You can always rebuild your injectors for cheap or send them out to get rebuilt for $100 or so... and flow tested.

Pink tops are 21lbs btw, 19s are orange.

Who could I contact to get them rebuilt? Also, they're rusty looking on the outside so hopefully that would be eliminated too. And I hear that pinks are 19 or 21, depending on who you talk to lol

Eh, if they are rusty, just get the 24s and get a tuner while you are at it. If you have pink tops your car already runs pig rich because Ford never changed the factory tune when they went from 19s to 21s. So going to 24s without a tuner... no...

They are good quality, just have to tune for them because of Ford's crappy factory tune.

You are not going to find better quality injectors than Ford Racing. Ford spends a lot of time and money to get them to be efficient and meet strict emission standards. Efficient means complete combustion in this case

I think he only thinks that things are good quality if they add power... no matter what it is.

Injectors themselves won't add power. Car is either getting enough fuel or it isn't. This is why I laugh at ppl who get 24s and expect to get extra power out of them. Its a good replacement injector since the OEM 19/21s are expensive or you need to pull a set out of a JY and get them rebuilt. But adding power... no.

Very often you can find rebuilt sets on the evilbays that are flowtested and everything already. They will have a core charge that you get back when you send in your old injectors.

I had some 22 year old injectors serviced by him and they have worked perfectly for 2 years now. He even paints them so that they don't look old and nasty.
He charges $17 per injector.

I wouldn't buy anything from accel..
Go oem equipment or go ford racing.
Wouldn't go too big , might affect performance and drivability with no tune or things to go with it.
19lb or 21lb shouldn't need to be upgraded on a bolt on GT
