X4

Finally got it. Still don't have my custom tunes tho. Said it should be here monday :/..but im messing around with the pre loaded tunes. I ran 87, and it defiantly did something. Mostly throttle response.

Now you need to burn up the low grade octane in your tank and put premium in before you get your tunes.

I think mine had 87, 91, and 93 tunes preloaded? Just one tune per octane though, unless I'm completely missing something.

I'm just running the 87... My fuel mileage has slipped, at first I thought the throttle was more responsive but I'm not so sure anymore, and the shift points are annoyingly high.

BUT I SHUT OFF THAT ANNOYING SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT!!!

Seriously, I might see if someone can modify my stock tune to disable rear O2 sensors. If high octane fuel was easier to come by for me, then maybe I'd run a hotter tune but for what I have, the bang for the buck doesn't exist.

You can shut the light off with the stock tune. Im running 93 performance and I haven't even gave it full WOT. And i can feel a great difference.

How do you shut it off? I only see that when you go in after you select the 87 tune.

Okay they emailed me fast. They said they don't really make economy tunes for my car since its manual, etc.

However he said he put the 100 performance if i ever go to a track.

Can you give me kind of a total gain i got from my tune? The 93 performance tune?

I can't give you a gain number from the tunes. But it feels better as you'll feel. If ask him to change that 100 P to a 87P if you never plan on tracking it.

I can't really be specific on what the tuner alone will make it feel like. I did intake, plenum, TB and gears all at once. And new spark plugs. I never go the chance to feel it all separately. New shocks and struts made it feel better too. I'll be doing springs lower control arms sub frame connectors caster camber plates and new bushings as well here shortly.
