Looks good, I would just do the wheels then actually laint the gas tank don't dip it cause it will eat it away if any gas drips on it. So just scuff and sand it then some rattle primer and black paint

Did you plastic dip the mustang rear bumper letters as well? Here's a pic of mine after I dipped the front wheels and tank

Looks really good. The letters were the first things I did but they were vinyls from AM, but wasn't real happy with the application so I decided I would dip the rest.

Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure if I have ever seen one of those, I'll bing it and see what comes up. What's your thought on dipping the rear spoiler Ruby Red? Right now, there is no black on the front to balance things out except for the grill. The black spoiler has always struck me as being out of place on this car.

Lotsa curb rash and nastiness...so no keeping the chrome ring...going completely murdered on the wheels.

mine were the same way and it hid a lot of the road rash.you really have to get up close to the wheel to see any imperfections and even then its hard to see.if you get a chance, check out the web site called wheels replicas.they have black chrome staggered bullets
that i want. 18x10 and 18x9.i was thinkin bout the black chrome saleens but when i saw these i knew.sad thing is i won't have anything else to plastidip.lol!all my emblems on the car are done black chrome ,i've got those black chrome mustang rear bumper letter inserts that i haven't put on yet and i think those new bullets will make a nice addition.maybe tax time i can snag some new ones.you don't think thats too much black chrome do ya?

Looks great... I'm not usually a fan of the all black wheel look, but it looks good on your car!
