Fuel pump or?

04 GT

Cold start is fine. Starts right up. Say I drove 10 miles to a store. Turn the car off and went inside. When I try to start the car it acts like it doesn't want to start. I would have to cycle the key and it will start back up. Also I noticed when I pump gas at any gas station I have to watch it. It keeps clicking. Acts like i have full tank.

If it starts fine when cold I would count the fuel pump out. But you can check the pressure at the rails to be sure prior to starting. Might have something to do with the ecu, or it might be a sensor (maybe crank position?). Start with the basics of spark and fuel. See if it's getting either of those, and go from there. Hope that helps
