Full Bolt Ons

What are all the parts that are required to be considered "full bolt ons"?

Basically everything that's not in the engine block. Minus things like water pump, power steering, A/C.

It's retarded when people say full bolts because it doesn't explain anything at all.

Full Bolt Ons

Intake, exhaust, tune, gears

For my 335i it's a bit simple my FBO is intake, exhaust , inter cooler and BOV and some consider meth to be a bolt on as well.

Hm, I guess my definition of full bolt on must be too much, from what I'm seeing.

If you want to be technical, the entire suspension, everything in the engine bay, etc, is bolt on.

Full Bolt Ons

So I've got longtubes, throttle body, cai, cams, gears, pullies, and a short throw. So am I considered full bolt on?

Lots of suspension stuff too but I'm sticking to the engine

What is your definition. Just give a list for the 3v since I don't know much about the 2v lol

Whenever someone says "full" anything. That means they don't really know a ton about modding. They just buy all the parts a certain site has to offer and toss them on hoping its faster.

And add up all the claimed horsepower and call it a day! My intake and tune put me at 330 and then my headers pushed me to like 350 then cams probably put me at 380. Just round up to 400hp and call it a day right?

I don't know if it would be that high. But I'd upgrade to the GT500 fuel pump and lines. And possibly bigger injectors. You know the more fuel you puke to it the more power it could make.

I think a normal bolt on 3v and e85 probably wouldn't be much more than 375

Full Bolt Ons

Still is a healthy number. Then when you feel ballsy get a centri and forge the internals. Crank up the boost and let her fly! That or Coyote swap it, better yet Voodoo swap it!

Almost everything about a car is held on by bolts. Unless you are zip tying crap then even a fully blueprinted engine is a "bolt on".
