Front suspension rattle

So I've had the longtubes installed for a week or so now.

I had to disassemble basically the entire front suspension, drop the k member and all of that.

Now I'm noticing a rattle noise when I take a hard right turn, it's coming from the front passenger side and sometimes I hear it when I am coasting up to a stop sign or red light.

Any ideas?
I haven't got an alignment or anything checked so that may be part of it and I might need new ball joints.

I torqued everything down pretty tight on the suspension, but I'm gonna take it to a shop tomorrow and have them look it over and if something needs replaced I'll just order some performance and better replacements

Could be the ball joint on that side. I've heard them clunk, bang, screech and scream in the 94-09 body styles. If you think you need ball joints then your probably way past due. It's always good practice to replace suspension parts before they let you know they are done.

Soccer beat me to it. Those are the best balljoints for these cars, period. And they're not too expensive either.

Well I'm hearing it more frequently now.. And it sounds more like the rear now that I'm hearing it more frequently.

Are all the 99-04 gt's quad shock in the rear?

Koni is one of the best brands out there. They are only 2 shocks out back. There are "quad shocks" but its not what you are thinking. Quad shocks are little shocks in the wheel well that attempt to keep the crappy stock 4 link from being too bad.

In all honesty, the SR springs AM sells are not bad at all. They're the only SR product I would put on a car I owned.

Well its not going to hurt anything but you really should do it all at once if you can. Also, Keeney, make sure you've isolated the issue before just throwing parts at it.

Only if you leave out the included spacers. If you install the spacers it maintains whatever ride height you are at although you'll need a front end alignment with new balljoints.

Okay, both rear shocks are shot, covered in oil and grime.

The passenger inner tie rod is bent, and the drivers has play as well.

So I'm going to get the koni shocks, and new inner tie Rods, should i get new outers too?

I would. If you have to get an alignment, might as well make it worth it.

So hopefully that takes care of the rattle and any issues I've had that haven't noticed.. From what I hear the shocks are gonna make a huge difference

Looks good. Hopefully those prices on the rods are comparable with Rockauto and Amazon. I have not checked recently... Either way, you got what you need.

Eh... It was probably some no name brand. I usually go with moog on Rockauto.
