depends on the price. When you are thinking of supercharging or turbo charging your car what you are paying for is essentially 3 things. You pay for the compressor which is pretty generic, in this case its a belt driven self contained quiet powerdyne unit they don't make much power but they are reliable and very quiet great for sleepers. Second thing you pay for is the piping and that is the part that is car/year specific but you can get 'tuner' kits that include generic pipes that you have to bend/fabricate to fit. Third and usually biggest cost is the install, this involves a professional actually routing the pipes and making the mounts then tuning your car on a dyno so it doesn't blow itself up.

That being said. This unit here is a low power unit, it will work fine on a stock motor even with a basic tune. If you pick it up for under 700 you can probably get a shop to fabricate and install and tune for about 1000 its a simple easy blower no oil lines or anything and you should pick up about 100-125 hp. You just can't use the chip that comes with it you have to use your own tuner and the shop will have to tune your car.

You can put a 96-98 cover on the front of your motor and then it should bolt pretty much right up. Dimensionally, everything is the same.

That said, I still would not. Powerdyne is long out of business and although their blowers were ok they were always at the bottom of the barrel.

If you want to supercharge for the least money, used Vortech S trim and even then you are going to be in it for appx $3k by the time you get done with fuel and a tune and misc parts.
