A/C Does not blow cold air

All right, so one day out of the blue my ice cold A/C sh*t itself and now it only blows hot air all of the time.

The clutch does not cut on when I turn the A/C on and when I jumped the low pressure switch it still does not engage.

With one of those Walmart r134 cans with gauge I checked the low pressure port and the pressure read 100 psi. Which is normal for when the A/C is off, or so I read. And it still read 100 psi when the car A/C was on, and the low pressure switch was jumped.

I guess it's worth noting that I can turn the clutch by hand.

What could be causing the clutch to not engage at all even with the low pressure switch jumped? I've searched multiple forums trying to find the answer, or atlas the next step, but I haven't really found anything that pertains to my problem. I've come to the conclusion that I hate A/C systems. The SC heat + no A/C = literal hell.

BTW this is on my 2001 Cobra.

When my truck had that happen, the clutch had to be replaced. Luckily it was replaceable without replacing the compressor, you might not be that lucky with your car.

I have to ask the obvious question...
Have you checked all of the fuses related to the AC system?

I'm sorry I should have posted that in the original post. I have checked fuse 24 under the hood and fuses 2, 23, and 24 under the drivers side dash. All of which seem to look good.

I was just out there looking earlier and double checked everything I covered in the original post as well as the fuses. And I looked at the climate control switches and all of the wires look clean with no fraying/slicing.

You can check the electrical connector on the compressor and verify that there is "juice" when you activate the AC. If there is power, then, like dwbrand said, your compressor clutch has likely failed.
