What do you think?

I've got basically the same mods except stage 3 comp 270's and I'm just a little over 300, have a short throw shifter and some suspension stuff, I think if you do a little fuel system upgrades where it can be under to make a little more maybe you can get it higher with a. New tune

Sounds about right from others with the same mods. I think what i have read with "stage 2" cams (stages are subjective i know) that you are closer to the 300 mark or a little under. Fuel system feeding more fuel with the tune and maybe a plenum you will see 300 or a little more with an agressive tune. You were tuned by lidio right IIRMC? He is known for conservative tunes to ensure everything works right and isnt pushed to the limits of what you have. I bet with a little more agressive tune you could pick up 10hp and be closer to where you thought it would be. Get a sc and you will be very happy im sure of it!

That is what a cammed 99-04 PI motor will make with bolt ons. That's a pretty good number.

That said, if you have the stock 19s you are completely maxing them out right now. Throw some 24s in there and a re-tune and see what she does. Stock pump/lines/rails will be totally fine, just the injectors need upgraded.

Should have done that in the first place. Will make just as much power with the stock cams as it does with aftermarket cams in a stock motor. Stock rods will let go around the 450 range regardless. Need a built motor to turn it up any higher.

You cant say i should have done that in the first place. I want to do more than just throw a blower on it. Thats why i started this build. Its not a budget build so im not worried about the money ive spent. Everthing ive done to the car should help it run more efficient with a blower on it. If after the SC its not enough ill build the motor and turn up the boost.

A supercharger on the stock motor can make much more power than the rods can take so like I said, cam swap and then a blower on a stock engine is a waste of money when you are still limited to the same number in both cases.

This is why you supercharge first and start working on suspension and then build a motor on the side.

I've wasted enough money myself in the past. Plus you'll need new blower cams later on in the future. Whatever you want to do.

As far as the build master, far from it but I've been doing these cars for 15 years now so I just may have picked up a few things.

No they did not tell you what to do you asked what they thought so there opinion is what they gave and they thought should be done whether you agree or not is your choice this is not the other forums these guys who reply have a lot of knowledge and are steering you in the wrong direction so you should ease up on them instead of name calling said my peace and there it is.

Well from what I see you have on the car is say around 2500 to 3000 so in that your HP and tq are low for the money spent if you would of went forced induction for 1 to 2000 more you could be pushing 400 HP to the wheels so yeah I think your numbers are low I'm stock 03 gt had it dynoed and I'm at 235 to the wheels so you see what there getting at you not much more than me

Don't get me wrong those numbers are good but if your looking for more power there are better ways to spend your money but at the end of the day it's your car your money

But you have to be careful the bottom end can only handle so much before it lets loose just my opinion @ 400 or so to the wheels is at the limit of the internals without building the motor
