These do look good... tires are way cheaper too. Also would not lose it if I nicked one as they are cheap to replace. I'm just not the biggest fan in the world of 17s on SN95s but they do make more sense performance wise and wallet wise.

Those Steeda wheels I am looking at are 34lbs a wheel.

That's a dam good price also. And take 6% off on top of that also. Your high as ***** if you don't get those. And they come with the MT

Well I could get the Mickeys with the Steedas too, I'd just be paying $800+$950 and that is with my Steeda discount.

AM rims with Mickeys probably make more sense and I put the original Ultra Lites I have in storage. I'll probably go back and forth 10 times lol.

Well AM is out of the black machined FR500s right now so PM'd a rep to see if they'll actually be getting more in in 7-8 weeks or no.

Also priced out the 18s for giggles with Mickeys and its like $500 more for... 1/2" taller out back and 20mm thinner. I'm going to have to eat crow for my previous 17" wheel bashing because it literally makes 0 sense to run heavier more expensive 18s unless I need to clear 14" brakes. Which I don't plan on anytime soon. I mean I do like the 18" look a little better but for performance and cost the 17s are much better.

I think the 17's look perfect on a new edge when it's lowered.

I was somehow right at $1200-$1300 for those last set of 18s I had on my 98 but that was with BFGs and 235s up front and they were price a solid $50 each less than they are now. With the AM discount the FR500s with Mickeys mounted and balanced and ready to go are like $1180.

Maybe I should just run the Sumis for $120 per tire.

Lol JK

I love the gym. Just not the people who constantly come up to me and as "hey you using that" (which is on the other side of the gym) when I'm obviously not. Pi$$es me off.

I actually recently found out the tanker squadron has a pretty badass gym and have welcomed anyone in maintenance to come use it. I may start using that vs the super crowded main gym although the main gym is very well equipped... just too many damn ppl using stuff and anytime I get into a groove in a workout some asshat is doing like 8 sets on the one machine I need.

Did some arms and abs this morning in our sketch *** gym at work.

Did a decent amount. 5 sets of bench, 5 sets of incline, 5 sets of flys, 5 sets overhead press and then 3 sets of sit ups on this little ab thingy we have. Maybe one day I'll get to 285 bench press wise lol.

Were you doing close grip bench? Bc if not that would have been considered chest with the flat, incline, and flys lol.

Close grip will hit the triceps though

Yeah wide grip. When I was in the desert the last time I had a routine where I would do chest/abs one day, biceps/back the next day, break day, leg day/abs, triceps/shoulders the next day and then rest on the "weekend" or just not workout for 2 days and then start over. Running 3 days a week. I have been trying to get back into something similar since my surgery.

Lol ah yeah... well. Overhead press does a little shoulders/arms, I'm just mixing it up today because I was a lazy *** and didn't do a damn thing yesterday.

Also this is exactly what my car would look like with the ultra lites on it except the ones they have left are chrome. I do like the look but hard to justify basically another $1k for zero performance gain.

Personally I like the Steeda rims that are on your car now. They might need a little help to get back in great shape. But they look much better.

Numbered car why not keep the same rims?

The price I would pay to restore them and 275/35/18 or 285/35/18 tires and the mount/balance is actually a good deal more than the $1170 or so price I would pay for the FR500s with Mickeys already on them straight to my door.

I am never going to sell the original rims, they will stay with the car and be sold with it when/if I ever sell it and maybe I'll get them restored at some point with some cheap Sumis put on them for car shows like the AM show or whatever.

Well the one in post 62 is not mine. Those are the wheels I am/was kicking around getting. Will likely get the machine face 17" staggered FR500s with the Mickeys tho. That's just way too good a deal to pass up.
