On what size rims? I hope at least 9" wide rims! If so, HELL NO! Nothing wrong with more rubber to put the power down.

Yes. I have 285s all the way around on 18x9s. They bulge out a little. 275s would probably be better but I need new wheels and tires anyway so I'm going to 18x9.5 all around and the same 285/35/18s.

I got 4 Goodyear Wrangler ATS tires for my truck barley used at all for $100. Then 6 months later road debris took out one and I had to pay more than that to replace JUST that one tire... FML...

Yep, I pulled into the parking lot and heard a hissing and was like "****, well time to get the plug kit out" and nope... 2" slice right through the tread of a freaking ATS tire with 7 or 8/32 left on it...

I wish I could get tires for $160, mine are over $400 a piece.

One thing to keep in mind is that while wider tires can help you with some things, if they weigh too much, they will have the effect of slowing you down. For example, straight line 100-140 pulls take seconds longer with my RE-11s than my Hoosiers, because the Hoosiers weigh 8lbs per tire less.

Nice. I have a real Steeda car and TJ is saying they only have 2 sets of those wheels left and that is it. Strongly considering getting them vs restoring the old school ultra lites I have now.

This is my car right now btw. The rims are actually not in very good shape but they are original Steeda wheels and this is a numbered Steeda GT with 34k on it so I want to do it justice.

Actually no idea what it would cost to get the damaged lips fixed, I know if they just needed a blast/coat it would be $75-$100 per wheel.

And for the OP, those are 285/35/18s all the way around.

I'm going to get quotes on how much refinishing these would be. Going to bust out the DSLR tomorrow and get some good pics and see.

They're not in TERRIBLE shape but they need refinished bad.

Change it up a little. Make it a bastard child. It would look sick with some 17x10.5's out back with a 315 and 17x9 up front with a 275

I just ordered 275/40R17 rear tires for my 04 GT. Currently have stock 245/45ZR17 all the way around on 17x9 Cobra wheels.

These do look good... tires are way cheaper too. Also would not lose it if I nicked one as they are cheap to replace. I'm just not the biggest fan in the world of 17s on SN95s but they do make more sense performance wise and wallet wise.

Those Steeda wheels I am looking at are 34lbs a wheel.
