Can anyone tell me what they used to get this stuff off around the holes?? It's already pulled up some of the paint so I know it'll need repainted. I just want it to look half way clean for now

Don't even bother. Leave it and deal with the eyesore or take it to get filled or painted. I'd be banging around junkyards trying to find a car that had a wingless decklid and get that painted. You might even luck out and find one in your color.

Yeah, and you won't pay much at all for it at the junkyard. Definite bonus if you find one in your color.

I don't know what it cost to have mine filled on the last mustang. I had them do body work and paint the whole car at once. I just remember feeling sad when I wrote them the check...

I may be able to find the paperwork. I think it had a break down of the labor hours. It also helps to know someone at the shop. Go make some friends! Saved me a little money.

If he can't find something right away, I'd put the wing back on vs driving it around like that.

The wing doesn't look any better lol the clear coat is like 80% gone and it's faded to a dull redish pinkish color.. The wing itself was an eyesore

I had these little stud things that I just painted and pushed in, but the paint damage wasn't as bad on mine. It's still not the best looking, but for the most part I'm not a fan of spoilers on the 94-04 stangs.

I got a quote of $400 to fill the holes and paint the trunk, but what I'm actually gonna do is get a carbon fiber trunk lid and paint it. No holes, no badges, and knocks off about 10 pounds. I'll sell the old lid with the spoiler to offset some of the cost.

Great looking car. Wish my H&Rs dropped mine that much. But i should have gone with thr steeda x2s to get that extra 1/2" or so and left out the isolators as well. Mine is 96 also so has huge wheel well cut outs at least they seem bigger than the new edges.

Thanks, Yeah i was running them without isolators i just wrapped both ends of the spring in electrical tape and no squeaking, the upr coilovers were prob the best investment i have made to my car handling wise, and at $250 they are pretty cheap and well made. Now i have a quarter inch wheel gap and i need to roll my fenders badly lol, and i can drop the front another 1 1/2 inches if i wanted too. Them longtube headers are gonna suffer haha.

Thats awesome. If i keep my car for a few more years after a major performance increase i will think about a set of coilovers for sure.

Well I got the plugs in and painted them.. Had this done for a couple of days just haven't had time to post up some pictures I really like the no spoiler look it keeps growing and growing on me, so I think I'm gonna commit to this.. Although the plugs turned out kind of all right I really wanna get the truck painted and holes filled, then I'll be satisfied lol Click image for larger version

That car looks so freaking good. And are those 17s or 18s? They look like 17s and they look really good with the car that low.

Okay so one of my good buddies, who works at a Nissan dealership here in TN as a paint and body guy, just quoted me what seems like a very reasonable price on painting my trunk.. He said he'd fill the holes and repaint it for 150$ what do you guys think??

That's a good price. Between labor and supplies you'd be getting a good deal.
