bad switch on rear defroster.should stay on few min then go off.replace switch=problem solved.they are known to be a problem .you do need to wire switch correct where no voltage when car off.

I gave it a load with the car running and it slowly died on me within a few minutes. Then after I did that I started it back and and it kept slowly dying within a few minutes

those voltages look ok, I wonder if draining your battery made it angry. Batteries do not like being fully discharged.

Sitting it now while idling and it's been running fine for the last 20 mins cut the headlights on for at least 5 still idle normal and the meter stayed the same

good. You should go for a good ride, hook it up to a charger for a couple, let it idle for an hour or two to get it nicely charged. I would be surprised it you killed a new battery by discharging it but stuff happens.

when trying to charge it don't leave your lights/radio on.

Sat my new shifter will be here so gonna take it for a long drive

mayhap cutting off cause the batt was so low that any voltage from the alt was going to battery (guess)

+1 on nice looking ride
