Okay finally got the car back..

I'm getting a code for fuel rail pressure circuit, and when I get on it above 4K rpm it cuts out pretty bad any ideas? Still haven't datalogged and sent it to MPT so that might fix it all

I'm wondering if the big difference with the new injectors is just making that sensor go crazy. I'm hoping MPT will see that and fix it.

Did you get some sort of tune to compensate for those 47lb injectors?
If not, those things are dumping roughly twice the amount of fuel as your 21's were. That will definitely confuse the PCM. Not to mention the cams!

Lol have you read this thread? Yes it's got a base tune from MPT for all of the mods. I'm going to datalog it so they can adjust the fuel trims.. The tune it has now is just a basic tune for the cams and mods to let me drive it around then the aggressive one comes once they get my datalog

Oh. Ok.
They must not have got very close with their "base" tune then.
You'll get it figured out.

Car sounds great when it's idling, by the way.

Yeah, I mean it was a big jump so I guess I'm not shocked..

Seems like it can be easily fixed..

Rap/Scotty you think I should invest in a wideband and a/f gauge

Also just went to start it and it was completely dead. My key fob didn't even work.. It was dead dead.. Will that affect my tune? Like it won't wipe it or anything will it?

Shouldn't. Get a fuel pressure gauge, A/F gauge, water temp and oil press bare minimum. Autometer makes a nice gauge pod that replaces the stock instrument bezel so it looks pretty seamless and works well with electronic gauges.

If you need to hold a breaker bar to keep it from spinning-- its not at TDC! I always make sure to take the wrench/bar off before putting air in, just in case it is not at TDC therefore spinning and karate chopping everthing like a flail lol

This makes sense-

ECU will adjust injector pulse during normal driving and kinda be able to modify the fuel trim based on the O2 sensor readings.

But I believe they exit closed loop at WOT. Some EFI setups are set up so the O2 sensor is not really calling the shots under wide open situations-- Just the MAF and throttle position\

So its probably just acting like normal and keeping the injectors open for x amount of time, thinking they are 19 lb/hr. But they are actually 47 lb/hr and the O2 sensor is not telling the ECU that the thing is pig rich. So you get a 6.5:1 afr which is right on the border line of not even being a combustible mixture.

Its also losing 2x as much fuel from the rails as the fuel pump is able to replenish. So theres the fuel pressure issue root cause (probably)

I'm not sure if the fuel pump is factory or not but if it is, should I upgrade it? And if I do will I need a retune or will the computer pull what it needs from it?

Also when it died earlier, I jumped it.. But it's only showing 12.5volts as I drive down the highway.. Wonder if the sensor is shorted somewhere and it's drawing on it or if the alternator is just going out

Shouldn't you need to upgrade the fuel pump since you are dumping so much more fuel in? Kind of like when you put in 47lb injectors when switching to E85?

Finally getting to the cam install

A BAP will be fine
Unless you planning on spraying a lot.
I'm assuming your going for a 100-150? If so a BAP is all you will need.
