yeah same here. I actually think cops have a soft spot for American muscle cars. Trucks as well. I get pulled over significantly less in these mustangs than I ever did in a ****ty beamer or Volvo. And yes, I was doing the same stuff all the time. No front plate on any of my cars. Loud exhausts on one of each. Always 10 over.

I used to get pulled over weekly in blacked out and lowered "sports" sedans. Shiny Cobra convertible? Never once. Crappy 99 GT vert? One time, but driving with no hood, nothing but exhaust manifolds, no headlights, no blinkers, no registration will do that to you! (got a verbal warning)

Wouldn't a few WOT pulls expose a lot of rich mixture to the O2 sensor? Would it go away after you return to normal stoichiometric cruising?
Haven't seen it done first hand but I've always been told that it works. But the people who recommend it to me usually are just looking to hollow out their cats and keep driving, as opposed to installing an off road pipe and no tune. But yea I would be suspicious of occasionally tripping a code or something.
