I have heard good things about on3 kits... But it will cost you more then 2,000 to get it bolted on and running. Your looking at closer to 4,000 to finish that build.

Depends on how often you will drive the car or how many miles you need this system to last.

Why I would recommend spray:
- Less moving parts (No seals, lubrication systems, or turbine blades to worry about)
- Easier to make consistent (no boost spikes or leaks)
- less abusive to engine (only adds power on the occasions in which you demand/switch it on, which is usually always at operating temp)
- Less apt to lean out (Wet kits provide their own fuel administration)
-Will not change daily driving or fuel mileage
- Can easily be removed in case you knock up somebody and have to sell the car

Why Id recommend turbo:
- it goes "Pshhhhh!!!"
- Adds power every time you accelerate
- Smoother delivery of the added power when compared to nozz
- Bragging rights

Ya on3 kits are nice, i think ull need fuel injectors/maf/fuel pump and tune, maybe even a tubular k member ... Thats why the out the door price is about double what the kit cost, you could always look into piecing together a vortech or procharger superchager kit , im in a v2 vortech kit for 2100$ total including tune and out the door ( again i pieced everything together) but with a centrifugal superchager u dont have to buy tubular k member and all the other stuff, im not even running a intercooler on the 10# im at ( when i crank it up ima get a fmic tho) ... just a thought

From what i've seen with On3 kits they are fairly good, but you will want to dump the actual turbo and buy a better one, and also upgrade the V bands. A few other minor things that i can't remember.

Ya but on the on3 site u can upgrade the turbo when u buy it so its not wasted money they have all kinds of options now for the turbo selection, i was not aware they had problems with the standard turbo tho? I know 2 guys that are in the mustang club here and they havnt had issues and they been on there awhile now

I'd still upgrade the turbo. Something like Turbonetics. I know someone running the normal turbo they sell and it's fine, but usually hit or miss for most.

Yeah it does though. It backs up the exhaust. Your engine experiences more pumping losses when your exhaust gasses are working against turbines. Nothing is free unless Obama makes somebody else pay for it then its free, right?

You'll need a lift and the ability to drop the k frame and install a tubular one! The rest is plug and play! Several guys around here run the single one guy runs the twin setup there's no doubt they are the way to go as far as power taken and power returned they don't need crazy cams a stock pi head 4.6 with stock intake (forged bottom) will make 600hp to 650hp. Honestly the best bang for the buck

I don't blame you. A lift makes stuff easier for sure. Personally I don't have a lift, and like doing stuff in my area vs someone else's shop ect.

On a sidenote the new turbos they have came out with are really nice.

Like I said there's several guys here running them with no problems and they make some damn good power with less boost than a blower and 100% drivability it's hard to beat a turbo for sure

I have installed 2 of the on3 twin kits on the coyotes. As well as one on a 3v.
I know what the kits are capable of.

Sell it.
I don't like centri blowers much personally. Not for a street car anyways.

I almost went pro charger but saw a couple Cars Dyno with the super charger then the on3 and more power on less boost and you get your power a lot faster with the turbo! I have the single on3 now just haven't put it on Iam waiting for a short block because I know Iam going to want more as soon as I get it!! Lol

I sure hope so. I like the centris because you can put a big honking air to air intercooler right in the front of the car and not worry about water tanks or pumps or any of that BS.

And I lol'd when I saw the title of this thread. Nobody ever reads on the On3 site that $2k is just for the basic kit. Same deal with the ppl who see the Tork Tech price and think they are getting a turnkey kit for $2300.

Cliff's notes for anyone reading this thread in the future.

You will not get a new supercharger or turbocharger kit in your car for less than $5k.

Like the other thread when the guy was asking why he couldn't find a better deal on a Kenne Bell kit, that's what they cost, sorry. Cost of the car plus the power adder plus the drivetrain etc... and you are at damn near $20k and will still get roflstomped by a lightly modded 11-14GT. Only reason I am in a supercharged New Edge is because I got the whole damn car for $5500 and by the time I get it like I want it I'm going to be at the $10k mark with me doing ALL the work except the tune.
