Problems with Liberty's High Performance.

LHP offers 26 respline kits for tr-3650 input shafts if you send in your stock shaft. When I sent mine I the said it will take 4 weeks. After 4 weeks I called they told me it will take 6 to 8 weeks now. Now it's been 8 weeks and they will not talk to me. I need this shaft in my car before oct. 10. Anybody else have problems with them?

What do you mean they won't talk to you or they're not answering your phone calls now or are they a corporation do they have a corporate number you need to dig into their business and see who their bosses are and call them they promised you a certain timeframe and if they can't keep that timeframe and they need to let you know at a certain point however it just becomes too painful for you to bear then the court system is your friend. in my opinion they would be liable for damages of what a rental car would cost past that eight week point per day but that's just my opinion but you need to try to negotiate with them in good faith to get your part back and find out what the reason is and if there's extenuating circumstances on why it's taking so long

Holy **** that's fishy. Do they have your billing information?

I would call them non-stop until they answered. Every day whenever possible. Lunch break at work? Dial them repeatedly back to back probably 25 times in a row. If they answer, talk their ear off. Email them whenever you go on the interwebs.

Do that until they put your 26 spline kitted trans in the mail and send you a copy of the shipping label.

That job is a matter of a couple hours. Not 8 freakin weeks!! This is why I don't send my stuff anywhere or take it to the mechanic. I have spent way too much time waiting around for mediocre work done carelessly.

If I want something done, I get the tools myself and then figure it out.

Examples:
exhaust-- I do not want my mufflers "clamped" in. I want them welded in. What did I do? I bought a mig welder and learned how to weld.

Engine-- My engine went out on my GT. I wanted to drive my car within 2 days. What did I do? I bought an engine hoist and drove to work after 2 days of working on it.

I'm calling them tomorrow when they are open and if they don't have it done yet I'm telling them I'm coming up there to pick my 26 spline input shaft up and that they better have it.. Central Arkansas to Taylor, Michigan.. Yes they have my billing address. But, they having told me to pay for it yet. They seem very unorganized.

So if you ever need an input shaft it takes them over 2 months to make one plus shipping.

I wonder if they will do it for free since it took so long... They haven't mentioned anything about paying or any price yet.. And they already said they are making it and will have it out for me.
