Black or chrome wheels?

Hey guys I recently plasti dipped my replica cobra wheels gloss black and I was wondering if you guys could give me your opinion on how it looks. I'm kinda on the fence of them, I like black but I love the chrome, and I figured I would change the look up a little. Click image for larger version

Luckily you don't have to imagine at all since he has a pic with them black. Lol. Kidding.

I think chrome is no Bueno, just seems so "from the factory" to me and it's cheesy in my opinion.

Black looks sweet in your car, if it were me I would get them powder coated. But why limit yourself to black at that point. Set yourself apart from the crowd and get them powder coated a deep metallic red, or a bronze. Think outside the box if you want to really snap some necks.

Chrome looks a little more clean. But the black looks a little more mean. So it depends on what look you want

If I like the black eventually I will powder cost them but the plasti dip is temporary and just to see what it would look like black.

You already said it, you love the chrome. Looks good either way imo but I like chrome wheels too. No matter how many black wheels on similar cars I see (lot of ppl doing black plasti dip it seems) I can't convince myself to like them over chrome. Two sets is a great idea too!

Personally I like the factory look.........but then again it's your car and your taste.
At least here on the West Coast almost every Mustang you see has black wheels...I just think it's been over done........who about anthracite (blueish teal gray with some green).

I like the chrome, gives definition to your wheels and doesn't look "blended in" with the tire like the black does.. Just my opinion though, whatever you like bro is all that matters..

Lol yeah guys I took the black off and am running the chrome again, I will say the black looks nice from a distance but once you get up close to the car it just looks tacky in my opinion. Chrome all the way!

Black looks good on some of them, but with that paint color id go chrome. It looks more dignified than the black.
Too many black rims around. I like to see some quality chrome on a muscle car. I need to get some chrome on mine actually.

Almost every mod'd Mustang I see has black wheels and in my estimation that fad has outgrown its time. I just saw a black 13 with "Gota-have-it Green" Vossen wheels that although kind of bright looked pretty cool, certainly better than black............IMHO

I would prefer the chrome over the black on your car. It all depends on the specific wheel and color of the car. When paired right chrome or black can look excellent.
