2004 GT trade for 2001 Cobra

Would it be worth trading for an 01 Cobra convertible?

My 04 GT is Screaming Yellow with grey leather interior. 5 speed, stock 460 Audio/Head Unit. Has 98K miles. Every tune up has been done from spark plugs to the Fuel Filter. New tires etc. Only mods are SLP Long Tubes, Catted SLP x Pipe with wielded in 40s flowmasters.

Now the 2001 Cobra is red with tan interior. 5 speed with 63K miles. All stock except 17 chrome bullitts and wielded in 40s flowmasters. Has aftermarket head unit with 460 audio. Has ricer headlights, chrome grille, ricer tail lights and 3rd brake light. Now the painted is started to fade but mine is cracking as well so.

Never own a 4v or a convertible. Still debating about trading or just keeping the GT. What are y'alls opinion? Did the 2001 Cobra had any issues?

Something doesn't seem right... Cobra with less miles for a gt with more miles. I would really question the motive of the trade.

Well that cobra is probably ****ed up if hes trading it for your car.

But yeah I have a 99 Cobra convertible with 50k miles on it. Loving it so far.

The only issues with the N/A cobras is that the 99s came with less power than advertised. Then all of them went back to the dealer and got bolt ons and tune to make them run like they said they should.

01s came running like the way the were meant to from the factory. 99s had to get the fix. Pretty sure 100% of the 99s got the performance fix eventually.

Honestly though, I will never ever buy a car or bike that has ricer **** on it again.
Every time I do that, I find out the car is a 100% basket case

It's at a dealership. It's getting wholesale. They just wanted to know if anybody wants to buy it before they sent it off.

Would be worth checking out. With 63k miles, it probably can't be TOO bad.

You might just straight up have a good deal there. Somebody probably just added that ricer **** in the early/mid 2000s when more people were into fast and furious look lol.

The GT looks better-- But the cobra will be more fun to drive. Convertibles are actually kinda fun. I didn't want a vert, but I wound up with 2 of them and its actually kinda fun on a car that you're not hard-core racing

Still debating. Will find out tomorrow though. The original owner traded it for a newer lifted f150. He said it sit in his garage most of the time due to him working off shore.

Edited:
Also if I get the Cobra I'm for sure taking the ricer lights off and the bullitt wheels.

Keep the GT. Nothing special about the NA Cobras.

Your GT looks a lot better. The verts are a pain in the *** also.
