Engine decisions

So my car has developed a knock I have a few options on what to do. I have a 96 mark engine sitting in my garage I would have to get a new intake it's the older style one now . Also would have to get headers and other small odds and ends to do the swap. Or go to the junk yard grab a 2v and replace it was thinking since it would be out anyways to do cams going to spend a good amount of money either route so might as well do cams if I go this way . Another thing I'm not sure about could I swap the 4v heads for 2v heads can get heads from the junkyard for cheap and do the cam swap that way. I know the heads will fit but is there other things I have to look out for. I can do all the work my self . The car is a daily driver so would like to keep it reliable

Also the mark engine is a 6 bolt so I would need a new fly wheel and clutch but would it work with my t-45

I would go with the 4v swap. It will have stock reliability, and still make more power than a cammed 2v. It will definitely be worth it when you put a good intake manifold and some headers on it!!

Plus the 4v engine barks like a pro-lites stockcar after 3k RPM lol
