Your just not hearing what we are all saying. Your car makes no real torque at 6k, the only thing you will accomplish is destroying one or more pieces of your various rotating parts. That guy that told u it was ok, what class is his car and is he clutch/manual or lenco, or an auto/powerglide and whatdoes HE launch at? The rating of your clutch is for peak torque but that isnt factoring in a dead stop, 3500lb 6k launch on slicks. Smh

Dyno the car and see where it makes peak torque. Launch from there.

I for one am holding my breath.....and REALLY looking forward to hearing how you do today.
My guess is with a perfect launch at low 4K rpm's, and if you slip the clutch enough as suggested you should be OK......ET and mph for best run would be appreciated by all of us......post a copy of your time slip.

Spun my tires launching at 4500 rpms 3500 rpms seemed to hook really hard. Won both qualifying rounds.

You have full bolt ons and nitrous but only 7.8 1/8th. You should be in the 7.2 range with 150 shot. Work on those 60ft times need to get those tires hotter maybe. Shoot for a 1.5 on slicks. What lbs did u have tires at and are u runnin tubes?

We lowered tire pressure to 13 psi doing bigger burnout and gonna try launching 4500 rpms

You say full bolt ons but u dont have headwork or aftermarket cams then right? Your juice on a WOT switch or button? Just trying help figure out where u can pick up time.

You know your 1/8th MPH is actually right on for your time considering my 7.7 @ 92. But I don't run nitrous all motor. Difference is being an auto with a stall I am more suited to straight line racing than a manual car. I also have ported heads and some healthy cams and a dyno tune. Still would think your car would be at least .3 faster in the 1/8th with 125 shot. Keep at it you'll find the perfect groove.
