Someone stole my pony emblem last night!

Just venting, as there really isn't anything I can do. But I woke up this morning to go to work, and noticed it was gone. I had made my own Mach One grill delete (sort of), and it had been that way for almost 10 years. Went through me living in a really bad neighborhood, and sat for a weeks and months at a time when I was in the Coast Guard and traveling for work. Oh well, now it looks like I'll be ordering the real one lol

People these days I swear.......

****ing hell thieves...

Make sure you attach it with the "secure" torx screws with the nub in the middle so the next time its not a simple Philips screw to remove.

That sucks man... I had someone steal my shorty antenna a few months back. Turned the radio on and my usual stations wouldn't come in... Turns out my antenna was gone

I had a antenna stolen off a past car I owned as well. That's the problem with owning a fairly common car, any jackass in a parking garage can just take an antenna or emblem to use own his own car.

Yeah Scotty, I'll have to do that next time. And trust me, I wish hanging was still used for justice. Right in the middle of the town square!

True. A buddy told me he came out to someone (late night Steak N Shake parking lot) trying to pry the SS badges off his Camaro. Obviously he caught the guy red handed, and used every fiber of his being to hold the guy and not beat him endlessly, until police arrived.

I think I would have been used every fiber of his being to beat the guy and not hold him endlessly. I had some stuff taken off before and not caught them yet. Buddy and out to go to work one morning and his car was on bricks. Took his wheels in middle of night. Was nice neighborhood.

All these stories is why I have had my nice cars garaged since 2003. And the only time I did not was living with my parents for 3 years way the hell out in the country with a big white shepherd who lost his mind if someone was in the front "yard" area of the house. Even at 2AM. Made coming home after a party at college kind of impossible without waking everyone up so I usually just crashed on a couch lol.

I had a really nice Baja Bug with a built engine, came out of work (worked afternoon shift) and my car was sitting funny - some A-holes stole my engine!

Lol
The first time that I removed an air-cooled VW engine, it took less than fifteen minutes.
Two guys can remove one and have it in the back of a truck in less than five minutes!

Yes they do!
And the least they could have done is replaced the engine that they removed with a ratty old single port!

I came out from work one day and my car wouldn't start. Not even a click! I opened up the hood and, sure enough, my battery had been stolen!

Yeah the funny thing is I have a garage. But my S550 sits in there now, and I DD my New edge.

Yes, yes they do. And I like your approach, because being able to laugh or somehow not dwell on it will preserve your sanity. Or atleast push off the inevitable break down followed by a vigilante Punisher-like cleansing spree through the city lol

Who would want an emblem from a car? That blows my mind why someone would resort to all that trouble and risk getting caught over a small thing.

Just a little update. I found a mach one grill delete pony emblem for 12 bucks on eBay. I also realized that the thief didn't actually unscrew it. Since I made the bracket out of plastic, they just ripped it off. The screws and part of the mount are still there lol
