Opinion

So my car is getting looked at Saturday, and if everything goes it will be gone.

My buddy has a 1997 cobra, with 75,000 miles original. He wants 6,000$. Its got mgw shifter, exhaust, and stage one clutch. Should i go for it?

Doesn't the owner have documents of repairs/services to support the mileage on the car?

I would run a car fax to see if the mileage as well as the car in general check out. But it's very likely. Cobras, corvettes, etc are more likely to be bought as a second weekend toy so you will see quite a few with really low miles

That seems to be an outstading price for that car if the mileage is actual. Looks really clean. Get a few more ponies verse your GT as well. Win, win. Hope it works out for you! If not Ill buy it.

agreed. Cobras tend to have low miles on them. Most cobra owners dont daily drive them around. Doesn't mean that there are no 200k mile beater cobras out there also. but one that clean, I would believe the mileage.

LOVE IT!
That's what I paid with 73,000 miles. A steal if u ask me. I inherited all maintenance records.
-Added MGW shifter, catch can, ignition PM, changes air & fuel filter, installed Amsoil in differential, fresh fluid in power steering, transmission, engine, ect..
With an aftermarket exhaust and 4.10 gears, it is soooo fun to drive.
Good Luck!!
