Installing New Exhaust, How Much Heat Wrap Needed?

Stock manifolds will be used on Cobra.
I'm extending down pipes, cutting in high-flow cats, and connecting to a ProChamber. New O2 sensors on hand to thread in.
Will this much heat wrap be sufficient to reduce some engine heat? Where the heat wrap stops is where I will be cutting to place the hi-flow cats.
~Just curious to get opinions from those who have tried the same thing in the past.
Thanks!

I wouldn't use it at all.. I wrapped my headers and exhaust and all it did was trap moisture and rusted the pipes much quicker

04 GT: CAI, 3.73, Longtubes, Full exhaust, FR500 locker diff, Comp Cams 270's, Short throw, Pullies, BBK 73mm TB, MSD coils, 47lb injectors, MPT tuned, Steeda lowering springs, Front strut bar, MM caster camber plates and the list goes on.

Oh, ****.
But,.. I did coat the entire piping and cats with high temperature protective coating against rust. Coated the inside of the pieces best i could also.
Tired of having all types of metals, stainless steel or not rusting out too soon for my liking. 3-4 years to have rust spots in not acceptable to me.
~I'm going to give it a go and see what happens.
** But, Did it help with heat??
