Changing octane

Hey everyone I just have a quick question! I just want to know if I've been running my car on 87 octane through all its 114k miles, Would there be any problem putting 91 octane in it or will it ruin it? I'm just wondering!

And I know it's actually supposed to take higher octane because it's a sports car but I'm just curious because I never used 91 before

Your car is actually factory tuned for 87. Putting 91 in it will do nothing except lighten up your wallet a little more.

No it is a problem. Sell your car immediately and buy a 1997 Civic DX and then join a tuner forum and ask what mods you can do to beat a LS1.
