Wideband install

Do I need to weld a Bung and o2 sensor if I already have an o2 sensor in my h pipe? Can't I just splice into the existing one?

No you need to weld a new one in there. Depends on brand and installation instructions, but when I installed my wideband the instructions were very clear on placement of the new bung. 24" from the exhaust manifold on the block. At a 11-2 o clock position. None of the current bungs met that requirement. Which is why you must weld in your own.
