HELP ASAP

Okay guys I need some help.. I just started up my car to warm it up and leave, probably two to three min., then as I back out to leave I put the car back in first and as soon as I let off the clutch and hit the gas the car made this awful popping sound and now idles with a really rough clicking ticking noise.. I tried to pinpoint where the sound(maybe air)is comin from and it seems like it's right underneath the plenum to my left around the fuel rail and COP.. Feels like air is coming out of that area... My car idles but sounds terrible any help would be appreciated as this is my daily an my only means of transportation.. Thanks guys

Would the intake manifold do this? I'm just at a loss, I felt the spot again and it's like sputtering air out, the car acts like it wants to die out but doesn't, it keeps idling and fixes itself back??

Just remove the cop where you feel the air coming out of and see if the plug comes out with it.

The intake manifold will fail at some point on these cars but usually you just lose coolant. Sometimes it will leak down into the spark plug and cause problems. That also sounds like possibly an exhaust leak

Okay I'll try that later today, it happened at night and I couldn't see much.. after I get off work today I'll try to take that plug off I think it's the third one up on the passenger side.. If this did happen is it an expensive fix?

It is common for the plugs to blow out on these especially if their not torqued to spec

I'm tryin to get moved into this new house we got and on top of that they gave me a new job at work where I'm five days a week, I just really need the car back goin it couldn't have came at a worse time and with hardly no time to fix it idk what I'm gonna do.. I don't wanna take it to a shop and them charge me a fortune when i could've done it ALOT cheaper, just in a rough spot right now.. Sorry I had to vent a little bit lol

If air comin from cop hole spaek plug blew out but everyone i saw do this the cop and spark plug where no longer in the hole lol ... But that dont mean anything urs could still have done it... The only other thing if its not that could be a collapsed lash adjuster/bad valve or a peice of timin chain guide broke but my guess its the plug...

No idea yet man.. The guy is gonna take a look for me and let me know what he comes up with, if it is the issue we were talking about which that's what he thinks too, then it's gonna be the price he quoted me.. But not 100% that that's even the problem haha I just don't have the time nor the knowledge to be tinkerin with it right now so hopefully he does me right

This is good info, but I hope it's the plug and hopefully it's none of the last few things you mentioned haha.. I didn't see that the COP was pushed outta there I just felt air sputtering out from that general area, I mean I could rock it back and forth a little bit but as far as breaking it off an pushing it out no it didn't

Well he guaranteed it for 12,000 miles 1 year warranty.. And he did mention that I outta change out the rest of the plugs because when he fired it up it sounded like it had a little miss to it, so pretty soon I'm gonna change the rest of them out myself with the help of a buddy
