New Exhaust Created & Installed

~Finally, After purchasing parts and pieces, having them starring at me from our bedroom closet floor for years, I got it together and went for it.
-I chopped up a set of used, stock-like manifold downpipes. The pipes had 7 bung's welded in from prior owner. Plugged up all but 4 of them. Cut the pipes into 4 pieces and covered them with high heat rust coating. Placed heat tape wrap on pieces of pipe from manifold down to upstream bung hole.
-Purchased a "LT MAC ProChamber"
-Picked up two high-flow cats, round, 11.5" long.
-Four O2 sensors purchased new.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
-Installation was a breeze due to working with smaller pieces of pipe.
Connected pipe pieces to manifold, attached hi-flow cats on each side, Connected last two pieces of pipe from hi-flow cats, then to Prochamber.
Spintech mufflers were already welded in place.
*~* Results are fantastic! I can creep around the neighborhood quiet as can be. When i shift through the gears at a moderate pace, it sounds like a muscle car with beautiful exhaust tone. Now, if i put the pedal down to the ground between shifts with RPM's of 3500 to 6000, it vibrates windows, & echo's through the valley.

--------------------------------
I dont think it sounds like any other car I have heard. I can't wait to run into a Cobra with exact same style set-up to compare.
========================
I will take some pics, cause I want to re-tighten as many bolts as possible.
If the camera F's on me again, anywat. If so, Ill barrow a cell phone and record it in case someone wants to hear it in motion.
Just like X=MAS for me today! Got me a "New" car!! Sounding, that is.

Thank You!
That job was not easy! Time consuming. The 2 ends did meet perfectly in the middle when finished.
Since working on it at my brothers house, one or both down-pipes connected to manifold are loose. I need those 4 bolts tightened up. I will get the rest of them snugged up too since it has been through many cycles now of heating up.
-I will record it in all it's brilliance once it is all tight. Hopefully sooner than later, it is driving me crazy to have worked on it for so freakin long and still not quite there yet. It will. I will.
Thanks!
Until then, you can hear me commin' 8 states away!

Found the drivers side manifold connection was not made/missed somehow when i installed it. One nut was missing, the other was finger tight.
Once tightened up, the system is super modest in Db's level. It has the aggressive tone from the Prochamber & Spintech 9000's but is not loud by any means.
So, I will find a quiet back road in the country here and make a recording. There are practically no videos to look/listen to that have a modular 4V with a catted ProChamber.
Results are that there is absolutely zero drone, even at the usually predictable 2200RPM range, or at any time.
Very modest, aggressive sound. Still growls like a Cobra should.
I am proud of the final product. Alot of planning and work put into it. I used exhaust wrap on the manifold down pipes, from manifold to the catalytic converter connection. New O2 sensors installed. MAC makes a great fitting mid-pipe. When connecting to the exhaust mid-way, both sides lined up 100% perfect.

Congrats on the finished product man! I wanna hear it! And no "drone" makes me jealous. My 4V with Bassani Catted X and Borla Stingers could wake the dead from drone! Lol

Thanks.
- It has to be because of the hi-flow cats i put on that mellowed it out so much. They are the Thunder Bolt catylitic converters. It sounds soooo good though.
-I'm contemplating whether or not I should delete the mufflers and just run tailpipes out after the ProChamber. You can be the judge.
-Was thinking of using Dr. GAS tailpipe tips. They are beautiful and they have a resonator type interior as apposed to smooth metal. Supposed to compliment the exhaust tone as leaving the end of the exhaust system.
Outlet is 4.25" and they are 8" long.
-Dr GAS is awesome because they will custom make anything you can imagine. --Originally owned Spintech muffler company, then went to NASCAR to make mufflers, now it's Dr GAS mufflers company.

SLP is super sharp, BUT...
Dr GAS has a larger 4.25" outlet tip & what sold me was the interior perforations added

-----------------------
-I was also intrigued by the tip with double outlets, one towards the ground, second straight out horizontally.
