Transmission went out

I was pulling into the service road and shifting into 2nd and it grinded out. Now the car is stuck in first and will not go into any other gear. We got under the car and the clutch fork is cracked and moves up and down and to the left and right. Does anybody know what could cause this

Has a exedy 400 in it. From what I'm reading I think the roll pin on the 1-2 shift fork may have broken off.

Well the good news is you can do it yourself and save all the labor costs. You can get a good rebuilt 3650 to your door for about $1100 not including a core charge. A little more for one with a little extra done.

Just incase anyone was wondering, it's basically impossible to pull the trans out with BBK long tubes on the car.

It's being taken to a shop tomorrow where I can use their lift.
