Lmao, scammers.
Glad I asked. I completely forgot that they say Cervinis on the bottom.

Baseline and possible dyno tune is scheduled for next friday, I'm looking forward to seeing what it lays down.

I'm really just hoping to lay down the same as the previous owner. He got 377whp and around the same wtq. I would love to hear that the previous tuner left some power on the table, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up on that.

Eh, dyno numbers are dyno numbers. Take it to the track and get the numbers that matter.

That would be amazing if they could do that.

I know, but it's nice to have a number in my head if anyone ever asks. Good track times are going to be hard to aquire since I work nights and won't have the opportunity to go very often.

Won't your numbers improve simply by moving? Lol

Theoretically. I'm just assuming the numbers the previous owner used are corrected.

Got a handheld ordered just in case they decide to touch up the tune. That should show up on tuesday. In other news, I've been driving the crap out of it since we had an unusual week weather wise.

Those wheels are really growing on me, you definitely have a good eye for wheel choices. Or maybe we have similar tastes. And you got a great deal on them too. These make me think I should get the silver SVE Drifts for my silver 03. I love the deep dish look too this is what makes me think I would miss that if I had a "spoked" wheel. But have always loved this type of wheel on a New Edge too. Too many choices, but you made the right one, maybe helped out by the great price you got, thats what I need to make up my mind is to stumble onto a great deal!

Thanks! I'm quite pleased with them to be honest. I think the Drifts would go well on the 03. I like having a fairly unique wheel, but at the same time it's hard to pass on the popular wheels (bullitts, FR500s, Saleens, etc) because they look so good and are so simple. The price I paid definitely helps ease any doubts I may have had about these wheels. I'm sure I could flip them for a small profit pretty easily.

All tough choices. Out of all of them the MMDs are my least favorite.

Well I just got back from my baseline and am pleasantly surprised. I was more than happy with the first run and was completely surprised when the second run finished. We let the blower cool off for the second run. Fuel trims are good until around 5500, and then it starts leaning out to a high of 12.5. I scheduled a retune for next friday. The plan is to run this tank almost dry and then bring some E85 with me to see what we can crank out of it.

I learned that it was tuned with a non-reprograable chip, which hinestly isn't an issue since I ordered the SCT S4. I do have one video clip but it's very shaky, so you guys may have to wait until next week.

Thanks! Honestly we're just gonna see what it puts down on E-85. They were claiming that it would be a good alternative to intercooling the car.

Thanks! From the limited research I've done it seems like we can get away with just swapping the pump and injectors.

That will definitely cool down the combustion chamber temperature.

If you look at the front of the skirt, behind the front wheel, there is the distinctive Bullitt "mudflap". Otherwise, they are very similar to a Cobra skirt.

I'll look into it further. I'm sure those guys were looking at pushing much more power than I am and that's why they swapped.

Not at all, I'm kind of resting easy on the fact that we are at altitude. For that run they used an 18% correction factor. I know a couple local guys are pushing close to 580whp corrected on a stock bottom end on E-85. BUT if something does blow up then I just have an excuse to build a better engine.

Thats great, see I told you 400 wasnt to far off, lol. I know you said that is corrected but either way your damn close to 400. At least now you know the PO didnt have some crazy stupid tune in it as it seems its was conservative at what did your say? 370ish?

So my search for a DHG drivers side fender has come up empty. I can't even find a DHG Bullitt that looks like a worthy candidate for dismantling.
