Haha wanting a Mustang II is a little crazy. It just seems like a bunch of guys (not the ilder members) on here can't comprehend buying a Chevy over a mustang.

You know, I'd like to have a Mustang II as well. And because I'm strange, a 79ish Cougar.

I'm as loyal to Ford as they come, but it takes all types. "Car guys" encourage competition and that makes all cars better.

Maf and fuel injectors are both maxed out. Overall I'm happy, I'll work on getting a new maf and injectors later on down the road.

That's a nice gain!
What did they do?
Did they take the data from your first visit, and "touch up" the tune, then installed it this time, and tried it out?
Did you use E85?

These motors can do 450whp safely, but I need new injectors and a MAF to try and shoot for that.

I drove in with 1/8th tank of 91 and we did a completely new tune for that. My original tune was stored on a chip that is not rewritable so we had to start over anyways. Once we were happy with that (basically the same numbers just not lean up top) we drained the tank and poured some E85 in. From my original baseline of 380whp I picked up 426whp on E85.

I'm kinda overly safe minded too. I'd be happy with just over 400hp.

See you guys are forgetting that I'm also at altitude. The shop I went to used a 19% correction factor, so I'm actually at 345whp. We have a local guy pushing his Shelby GT to 580whp corrected which would be 470 uncorrected. The only danger would be coming down from the altitude

So I've been getting the itch for a new set of wheels and I think I found my next set. These are CCW D110s. Unfortunately I won't be able to buy a set any time soon, but I have something to shoot for.

Haha well they are getting slightly dusty, so it's about time to replace them before the dust settles in any more. In all honesty this set just feel like a temporary set to me and I miss having a fairly flush look in the rear. Granted I won't be getting the CCWs any time soon, but it's something I can shoot for.

Well... I just hopped on the wheel purchase band wagon. Ordered AM's classic drag wheels 15X8 in back and 17X4 in front. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to top my previous wheel purchase by finding a set of cheap drag radials and front runners, but you never know.

Yeah it's a shame they don't have more options for the other wheels

Thats an awesome deal. You will be glad you pulled the trigger. I still cant beleive the prices they are right now and how much I saved on a wheel I wasnt really considering since it was a little too high budget wise for me. Good luck on finding the tires

Yeah it almost makes it worth paying full price for some tires now. I'm curious to see what yours will look like on your car.

Just sold off my factory wheels and tires. Now to decide if I should buy some drag radials for the new wheels or wait and buy some injectors/maf instead. Thoughts anybody?

IMO, if your running safe right now with your current injectors and MAF, id go for the new tires. That way you can enjoy the weather coming up lol. You can upgrade later.

Unfortunately they sold out of the front wheels before my order was fulfilled, and now AM is discontinuing them. The rears should still be shipping out though. I'll probably order something like a Mach 1 grille delete instead.
Rcode, I think that's the route I'm gonna go with. As good as it would be to get the new maf and injectors it will be kind of pointless considering I don't have any traction as it is and any more power is just gonna make it worse.

Yeah me too. Hopefully not horrible. I dont think they will though. But makes me think I should go with a bigger drop than 1.5" like with Sportlines or H&Rs with no isos.

SCT BA3000, Mach 1 grille delete, and a 14" antenna are all on the way.
