We should make a sticky thread of a 1/4 mile list

I think it'd be cool if we stickied a 1/
/4 mile E/T list and 1/8 mile e/t list for 99-04 mustangs..

If only there was a standard track format to measure against. Would be great to be able to compare track times

Like speed_mister said, you need to calculate DA (density altitude) and then the times can be corrected to a dry, sea level setting. Dragtimes.com has a calculator (and an app) that will do it for you. You just need to input the track, date and time.

I haven't tried the site he listed but you can give that a shot too.

Just an FYI. Altitude correction is a big portion but it's not getting the whole picture. Humidity and temperature also need to be accounted for if you want a fully corrected number (10 deg can be worth about 0.1 sec or so for NA). To capture that, you need to calculate density altitude. Dragtimes will do this for you using weather data and the elevation of the track.

I apologize for repeating this in your thread. I didn't look at the site you posted before my earlier reply. Just wanted to clarify my suggestion. Good luck on the 1/4 mile thread. It'd be interesting to see everyone's times.

I think if we did to much correction stuff it won't be "real world times" correct altitude times and mph if you feel as if it made that big of impact. Do your math with your time slip posted and I'll check math and post your corrected times. I'll get with person if our math doesn't add up.
