Short throw comparison

So I'm ordering a short throw today and wanna hear what you guys have to say about the cheaper option over the ford racing hurst short throw. This is for a daily driver not seeing the track.. Just wanna clean up the slop of the stock shifter.

I have read countless accolades on the MGW. i donnt have one but when i go short throw i will be getting the MGW. Hands down the best, and for a dd too. I have researched them quite a bit a while back. Look it up you will see nothing but rave reviews.

If you don't really care about slammin gears, but want less slop, just get a Steeda handle.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/sttrshha.html

This is what makes it so sloppy.

That big 'ol rubber bushing between the stock handle and the stock shifter.

Slamming gears with a stock shifter in a 01-down car is not a good idea. No stops=bent forks. The 3650 has internal stops so you don't need them after 01.

I have been a HUGE fan of the Steeda shifters for the toploader transmissions. Have had one in pretty much every car I've owned. They are great shifters and I'd go so far as to say they are better than the 04-down MGW for just all out slamming gears. Plus you can add in a Steeda plate that moves the shifter handle about 2" closer to the driver.

I have an SR Performance shifter with a Steeda handle. Pretty nice, especially for the price. $75 for the shifter on last years cyber Monday and $35 for the handle. I'd probably buy the Steeda Tri ax if I didn't get such a good deal on the SR performance shifter.

You miss-spelled MGW with some kinda word with a St-- something.
I'm sure you meant to type MGW in regards to any aftermarket short-throw
-Nothing else behaves like it, masterpiece of assembled metals.
-I was thinking about getting an extension for the clutch pedal.
-4.56 gears will compliment the new clutch and my MGW!

I mis-spell MGW as "S-T-E-E-D-A" for the 04-down cars lol. I have never NEVER had an issue with a Tri-Ax on a toploader trans that was related to the shifter. Plus putting the handle 2" closer to me is nice, its even better than the MGW "comfort" handle.

Adding the Steeda Tri-ax handle to my shifter got it a lot closer. That's even without the 2" plate you showed me a while back. I really like the position of it.
