Maybe. But I think that is the total miles on the car.
That is something that you will want to verify during a pre-purchase inspection.

Does the Mustang's speedo only go to 100k miles......probably 130,000 miles. Just depends on how many miles on the drivetrain.

Well, no accidents, but the mileage is definitely 130k miles.
That makes the car lose some value in my eyes. I would negotiate the price down closer to $10,000.

Yeah im not sure what parts on the car he kept stock. Hopefully the suspension is really good because he put so much work in every single thing in the car

Really mileage on a race car makes no difference. When I sold my 70 Maverick drag car it only had 32,000 on the odometer.....that was before it was converted into an all out B/SM car........which meant I may have had another 1000 miles....and that made no difference because the body was the only thing original....same with this car.....I would think. You can see by the pictures posted that the drivers seat looks really well worn.....the rest of the seats look almost unused.
So if the guy invested $10k/15k in the motor......which he must have if the parts mentioned are the parts used....I doubt he would sell it for much less than $12/13k....I am assuming that this dealer has taken the car on consignment as the website looks to have some very expensive exotic cars......

Yeah he has alot of work into it. Just curious on the suspension so the power can actually get to the ground. For all the work done 15 grand is a good deal but you cant sell a car for the price you have in it

The stock 4.6L engine has a comfort zone of around 425-450 flywheel horsepower. Anything over that, and the rotating assembly could let go and ✨BOOM✨ goes the engine. However the aftermarket provides a host of supporting parts that can easily handle over 1000hp.

RWHP, not flywheel.

So, is this another car you are looking at???
Nitrous can be just depends on how much.
Kind of like the Fox body, the only exception is that the motor was built to take abuse...........stock motors are great and can take quite a lot of abuse.............on the other hand it's kind of like loading 1 bullet in a 6 shot revolver...........spinning the cylinder and then pulling the trigger............

I once had a roommate who talked a lot of smack about car knowledge. According to him, "every time you use nitrous its like putting 5k miles on your motor". Guy was an idiot and was not a roommate by choice.

A good kit that is properly selected/installed is just fine.

That said... I have not seen a nitrous switch like that ever. Usually its setup to activate automatically at WOT or its on the wheel or the shifter knob itself. Might be something retarded like spark plugs in the tailpipes or something... who knows...

When N2O first came on the scene a couple of decades ago you used a momentary contact switch.........kind of like a roll control switch. Without asking what it is....could be anything and sure enough I haven't thought about the sparkplug in the tail pipe thing...........not sure how that would work with a computer controlled engine...........maybe

I'm not crying foul here...............the prices on the invoice look to be extremely high. I can buy a bare Dart 8.2 Iron Eagle block new for less than $2300, the price they show on the Eagle rotating assembly....unless it is a billet crank I think they are $1000 high..........the $2300 for the 3550 is a price for a 600 TKO...you can buy a new 3550 for $1300....the machine work looks a little high also unless it took them 25 hours to assemble the motor.....I'm just saying these prices look to be really, really high.
And if the person spent all of this money and didn't really do anything to the chassis.......how long before it comes apart under the 550lbft of torque although I wouldn't think the gaps between the doors and fenders would as good as the pictures show without something tying the front and rear subframe assemblies together...........especially with 5000 miles on the car since the motor was built..........IMHO

Just from the guys response it sounds like he doesn't know anything about HP cars. Is this dealer just a consignment shop or did they take it in trade for another car????? I would try and ask the dealer for permission to talk with the original owner.........
