Mach 1 Shaker brackets for 2V

Hello, I am researching the viability of mounting an OEM Mach 1 shaker system and Mach 1 OEM hood to my 2V, and the missing link in getting this to work properly is the special shaker mounting brackets for the 2V motor. Kar Kraft and at least one other vendor used to make this special bracket, but I cannot find anyone that still offers the bracket. Does anyone know where I can either get the bracket, or does anyone know where I can get a copy of the plans to make the bracket? Thanks in advance.

Try a mustang specific salvage yard. They might have one but I imagine they won't be willing to sell just the bracket. Worth a shot though.

If you were looking to do this about 5 or so years ago it would be much easier. A few companies, Karkraft etc. used to make a kit that was for the Bullitt and GT's, but they all stopped or went out of business. A few guys on different forums have done it but they never posted actual measurments.

I am sure with some patience and aptitude you could make it work. Though it won't be cheap. Figure ~$1k after paint, and fab. I see you already have the CDC shaker on the car. Is spending that kind of cash/time worth a purely cosmetic mod? That's up to you.

you are correct in all of the above sonic. I guess I am just testing the waters to see if it is viable to do this change or not. I have a perfectly good shaker system now, but for some reason I really like the OEM Mach 1 hood...

Oh I agree, I can say from experience it is awesome Ford design engineers really got it right. There's just something about watching that shaker when you slam gears at 5k rpms.

yes, Ford did do a great job on this. I am hoping my fellow mustang nation brethren might know someone, or of a junk yard, that has the 2V shaker brackets that Kar Kraft used to sell. I will gladly pay a finders fee.
