Looks great. Sounds like you will have it on the road in a couple weeks. Just about perfect timing for the weather. Cant wait.

Got the battery relocation completely done.

Got the cut off switch in and wired up.

Got one positive cable to the battery + in the trunk, the other cable to the back of the alternator.

That way when I kill power in the back with the switch the alternator doesn't try to keep the car running.

Just to review, double check me on this relocation wiring to make sure I'm okay.

-The battery is in the trunk.
- battery ground is running off the battery to the chassis in the trunk
-battery positive is running up to the starter
-block ground is running from the block to the chassis in the engine bay
-factory starter wire from starter to fuse box
-kill switch has one positive running to the positive of battery
-2nd wire from kill switch is running to the back of the alternator

Well slater my daily is getting jealous because it's starting to give me problems, it's a common problem with these cars apparently but it's a Volvo so it's expensive to fix of course

Honda beaters are a dime a dozen and run forever. My father in law is a master Honda tech and routinely flips beaters he gets for damn near free for $1500-$3k depending on what they are. Brother in law got one with 285k on it and its still going damn near 100k later lol.

Found some Siemens deka 60lbers on eBay for 299$ so I saved a 100 bucks and they are new!!

So as it stands I will get the headers Monday, I'll sand blast them and paint them and install them on the engine Tuesday and maybe drop the engine in Tuesday or Wednesday.

If I drop it in by at least earlier in the day Wednesday I can get it wired up, roll it over to the lift and throw the trans in.

Then hopefully get it started by Friday

Well gentlemen, the headers and bell housing bolts came in today about 11:30..

So I drove 30 miles back home from school grabbed the headers and brought em back.

Unfortunately it's finals time at the college so in my engines class where I do most of the work we reviewed today and are taking the final tomorrow so I didn't get as much accomplished as I would've liked..

But I did get the headers sandblasted, and painted with silver ceramic header paint.

After I blasted one of emClick image for larger version

Also I bought an engine gasket set and it came with some aluminum 2 port exhaust gaskets and the pace setters came with a set too.

From my experience the gasket the pacesetters come with blows, so I got the passenger side header bolted on and torqued with the silver 2 port gasket.Click image for larger version

My usual 7 am class doesn't start until 8 this week, so me and a buddy are going to meet at the college at 6:30am to hopefully get a jump start and get the drivers side on, and maybe be able to get her set down in the car!

Injectors are set to be here Wednesday which is fine since I won't be ready to fire it up until Thursday or Friday depending on how the install goes.

Also, I've ran into a bit of a bump in the road with this Eddy intake.

The factory throttle body has a metal fitting and this little rubber piece for the two vac lines around the intakeClick image for larger version

Name:	ImageUploadedByMustang Evolution1461630283.335994.jpg
Views:	75

The Eddy intake didn't have a fitting made into it but it does have a spot to thread in a fitting.

I bought a brass fitting but now I have lost that rubber piece that ties the lines together.

Luckily there is rumored to be a strictly mustang salvage yard about 20-30 min from my house here so I'm going to try to check it out tomorrow!

But in the mean time does anyone know where in the hell I can find that rubber piece?

I've tried parts stores and most places on line and salvage yards are scarce around here

Got really lucky with the little rubber piece, posted on a Facebook group and a guy is gonna Goto a salvage yard up where he is from in Michigan and sent me one overnight free of charge.

Said he wanted to pay it forward, I think this is good karma coming to me from changing a guys flat for him the other day on the highway

Got a lot done today! Or at least it feels like it.

Got the motor dropped in, bolted down to the motor mounts

I really regret doing the wiring the way I did. I tucked everything after the motor was out, which would've been fine if I would've labeled everything when I unplugged it and tucked it.

But I got 80% of the wiring done, got a few plugs and sensors to hook up and find, mainly stuff dealing with power and ground around the fuse box area, and the trans harness.

I've got so much stuff deleted it makes it a pain to track down the loose sensors I no longer use.

But this is where I stopped today Click image for larger version

Ran into two small bumps today tho, the coolant reservoir didn't fit very well, had to fab up a little bracket but I got it to work.

And one o2 sensor is very very stripped and the other has wiring damage beyond repair, so I gotta order 2 new o2's from rockauto and get the here QUICK!

Tomorrow if I can get the wiring done and figured out then I should be able to get the trans in and then fill up all the fluids.

Thursday I will probably just double check everything sensors, fluids, bolts tightened down, and if I get my tune from mpt by then I may start her up but if not probably Friday!!

B I G day today!!

I figured out the remaining wires, got my injectors in, got them hooked up, got my vacuum line situation done, my old strut bar no longer fits due to the 6061 elbow so that sucks, picked up a new air filter.

I got the wheels throw back on and set her down and rolled her to the lift Click image for larger version

Drained the tranny, got the clutch on and aligned, new pivot ball put in, and got the trans in with the 2 bottom bell housing bolts.

So hopefully tomorrow I can get the rest of the bell housing bolts in and maybe the driveshaft fill her up with fresh fluid.

I just ordered a tune update from mpt for 20$ so I can at least drive it home and around safely wth the bigger injectors, only issue is I have a pro-m racing maf but have no transfer curve data, like my maf sensor has their sticker but no info written on it. MPT asked for it and I don't have it and I've been calling pro m everyday for the last month and they haven't replied. So idk what to do or what mpt will do with that.

So until the tune gets here I can't start her up which is okay because I still need to find out where I'm going to bolt up the fuse boxes that I moved to the fenderwells.

So a Friday start up is doubtful but it's just little nit picky stuff from here out.

I won't say mine are as good but I really paid a lot of attention to the short side radius which if you look at that picture that's the big difference between the two, and with my gains on my heads I'll take that anyday compared to 2000$ on trick flow heads.

Not saying trick flows aren't any good but I can do better things with that money

Trans is in, all the bell housing bolts are on and torqued, got the starter in and wired up, got the driveshaft on and torqued.

I got sent the wrong injectors, I got the Siemens 60lbers I wanted but that are ev1 and I ordered ev6's so I had to order the adapters.

So I still need the following before its done:

-plum pcv and catch can
-finish tucking the wires in fenderwell
-install wipers and wiper cowl
-fill trans with fluid
-install shifter
-vacuum fill with coolant
-install injector adapters
-hook up o2's
-load the tune on the car
-install inner fenders
-alignment if I have time
-install hood
-install bumper

I got a lot of little **** to do in like 3-4 days lol
