I might have stumbled on a great deal.

Buddy of mine is selling his blower, mass air meter, power pipe, and everything needed off his termi, 60k miles on it. Only wants 600$Click image for larger version

So now the question is do I stick with the on3 plan or maybe look into this.

This would save some money but limit your power more right? You could always go this route then go turbo later since you have the correct K member and such. This would require something like the Tork Tech kit, right?

I'd be limited to an extent, I mean with the right Pullies and ported blower, e85 I think 700+ is possible or upgrading to a kb

700 is not possible on a ported blower, no way in hell. More like 520 and that is going to heat soak like a mother****er on you. You'll need a TVS to make 700 and ported heads and blower cams. I'd stick with the On3 personally. You don't sound like you want to tho...

For the Tork Tech you will still need some other small parts off the Cobra like the heat exchanger, coolant tank, pump etc...

I want to stick with on3 Scotty, I just thought it might be a sweeter deal, but looks like the power I want it isnt

They sound amazing but are not very efficient. I think the fastest ported Eaton cars are low 500rwhp automatic cars that run 9s. But they are fully prepped track cars.

Thats pretty damn fast to me though, I understand their completely gutted too of course. But Im sure cost wise to achieve those same kind of numbers, I assume higher numbers with a 5 spd, would be as much or more than the On3 kit in the end?

Those dudes have full drag suspension, lightweight, automatic conversion, ported to hell, huge tank of ice in the trunk etc... etc... Going to be way more work than the On3.

Got the drivers head ported and flow benched. It gained anywhere from 30-50cfm at .1-.6 inches of lift.

Also got the engine bay cleaned and primed so I can get it painted, I don't see the point of sticking the new and dressed engine into a dirty engine bay.

Should get that sprayed tomorrow, unless I get home and my head was delivered. Then I'll be porting that tomorrow.

Oh Im sure. Ive seen a good amount of foxes, new edges, etc run those kind of numbers or low 10s at my local strip. There full blown drag cars basically, nothing you would want to drive on the street much

You probably wouldn't want to drive my on the street either lol but my cars pretty clean and well put together. It's missing a/c, abs, traction control and the rear interior but still drivable and clean on the outside

Also got the drivers side head torqued down, valves and springs installed, and I had to stop for the day because of a dr's appt.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get that head and valve cover on.

Also I'm following the service procedure off of all data. And it says not to install the oil pan until the timing cover is on but can I go ahead and get it installed and just tighten down all the bolts for the pan except for the fronts?

I don't think you can because it does need to have a small bit of silicone at the two mating surfaces for the cover and the block to oil pan

I'll have to check the procedure tomorrow to see if it mentions silicone but I'm just anxious to get it a little more complete.

Also here's a little eye candy, my drivers head that I hand ported and got torqued down today.Click image for larger version

Engine bay looks good to me. Just rattle can it? If so looks really good! Also what CC plates are you using? Do you like them, any noises? Just exploring options, I always say MM and you know you will be happy but looking for more options.

Yes it's rattle can, duplicolor perfect match, but it wasn't my exact paint code.

And they are mm

Ok cool, guess the 3 bolt threw me off. Again looks like it matches well enough. When the motor is in and everything it will look awesome, with your wire tuck too

Not much I can do engine wise until the new head gets here, so I'm going to try to tackle this wiring. I tucked everything in the fenders, and I gotta relocate the battery.

I wanna write down where everything is and try to map it out, so come install say it's easy to wire up.

As far as the battery relocation, I'm stumped because the harness has like 3-4 sensors and plugs and I'm not sure what they go to and how I need to wire them since the battery won't be up front any more.

Are there any write ups on this?

So I got my elbow and accufab throttle body today, got it mounted up but I think I might have some issues.

On the front of my old tb I had the 2 pcv hoses Click image for larger version

The elbow only has a place for the 1 (my finger is about where the other one would've been)Click image for larger version

Also, coming off of the frps, there is a vac line the went to the tb and it had a rubber y that had another vac line going elsewhere, well the elbow doesn't have that line anymore.Click image for larger version

I guess I could just connect the vac line from the left of the y on the old fb to the one off of the frps and it may be okay.

As far as the hoses go, when I go boosted I won't have the pcv system, but for now I've got a breather on the driver valve cover and I'll just plug the hole on the passenger valve cover and the cai I guess. Not sure what to do about that.

You can always drill a hole and get a brass fitting with a nut and a gasket on there. That way you'll have that very important FPS vac line on there.

Getting the heads cleaned, checked, valvejob, re assembled and work on the exhaust port and smooth out the runners possibly. B heads are a bit tricky tho from what I hear... As far as porting anyway. I have 3 sets tho lol.

Still gotta buy the clutch, spark plugs and injectors.

I guess if I really needed to I could but the old clutch back in but I would prefer to get a new one.

These plugs pretty good?Click image for larger version

I always use autolites personally. Plain old coppers with the correct heat range for whatever you are doing.
