I almost bought a cobra but chose the 2 valve only because people say they don't make power bla bla bla. I've seen several well over 700 horse and it works damn good and plus the 2v is a mischievous cheaper care compared to the cobra so that leaves more money for go fast parts! Lol

At those power levels just buy a Coyote. I know I can get more than I will have into my car for it if I decide to sell it so if I get a hankering for more than 450...

But my logic with the 04-down cars is unless you have a terminator they all have the same rotating assembly, the same driveline and the 2V can sound way better. And is cheaper. And you get the sleeper effect.

I love the new edge body style always have and I got a one owner completely stock not beaten up car for 5800 I paid cash that said I can't pay cash for a coyote car so there's a car payment and the chances of me being able to have free money to spend on it...... Slim and none! Lol

Dont sell it! Then you really wont ever own multiple Mustangs! JK. Buy one every 5 or 6 years like I plan to do, lol.

I agree....as I just did the same when I bought my 03 a couple weeks ago. Ive always loved the new edge Mustangs and have always wanted one even tho I know their not a huge power plant. They look great when done right and doesnt take a whole lot either. With mine it will be quite a while before I add a turbo or FI but in the mean time it will sound good, look good, and still be fun to have. This way the car is paid for with cash, and was cheap, then add things on when you can or save up the money and do it. Cost is spread out and you dont have to daily drive it either. My situation is I could get a 11-14 Mustang GT, but it would have to be my daily due to the payment factor, then I wouldn't have as much for funds or it would take longer to do save it, and I would still have to have a decent DD in the winter and with the family, it just doesnt make sense and isnt a smart financial decision for me right now. I get the math on the whole Coyote vs building a 2v but depending on your situation it may not be in the cards. One day Ill be able to buy the newest Mustang GT and have a nice DD but until then Ill have to make due with what I have.

I have video if someone can tell me how to put it on here!!! Safe tune thru the automatic 382hp 419tq 100% stock other than flowmasters! 10psi. Ran out of time putting the front end back on tomorrow after work and I finally get to drive it! Feel like a kid on Christmas Eve!!! 373 gears going in next weekend randy says that will make it feel that much better so looking forward to that. Well time to put the short block build in high gear! I know this will only make me want more!

Put the car back on the Dyno randy made up a Manual boost controller turned the boost up to what we were hoping would be about 10psi well it ended up at 14. He pulled to 3500 rpms. 305hp and 612tq! Wish like hell we could have full pulled that one sure the motor wouldn't like it but damn! If the motor didn't go the stock auto probably would! But with all that said the difference in a larger single and smaller twins is this. Car was at full boost by 2300 rpm and so was the torque. So far have only went about a mile down the road no front end dead tags no head lights or turn signals and came on a license check made a fast u turn went back to the shop but in that time damn car feels good!!! Videos to come as well as pics of the Dyno pulls

My car has 100,000 miles on it just rolled it randy left the five psi spring in the waste gates he tuned it to 350hp and 455tq till I can over come the cost of the turbo and have some money for a tranny before he turns it up and more. The 613 tq was a 14psi uh oh he shut it down at 3250 rpm lol! I'd love to feel what that kinda torque feels like! That's a little down the road gotta finish my engine first

Definitely need some suspension work now, absolutely! Im sure you dont want DRs since you said you daily drive it but it looks like you need some, lol. With the 373s next weekend it will be even worse. Maybe Mickey Street Comps coupled with full length welded in subframes, LCAs, shocks, struts, and springs? Then you may have a chance at hooking.

They are pretty awesome, not hooking or not it would be a lot of fun. I can get ones about half that length with a good ole brake tork and then let it out, but thats cheating.

I have control arms already just waiting to do the gears and put the adjustable shocks in upper and lower control arms in and the 373 and traction rebuild kit. Those marks where from a 10 mph roll as soon as the boost came on (2300 rpm) they just broke loose and spun thru drive! At the moment it's a damn lot of fun but yes I need some HOOK! Lol

Final numbers we stopped at where 352hp and 458tq that was the lowest boost setting spring it came with. It has 10lbs springs but figured with 100k miles on a stock trans that was a good place to stop until I squirreled away a little "what if" money!
