Well it's started twin install

Started Friday got the kfram out bumper off exhaust off getting back on it now! The joys of a 13 year old Virginia car and rusty bolts! Pics to follow as the kit starts to find its way on the car.

Why I got a car with zero corrosion anywhere. Hey your motor runs lol.

Definitely post pics of this thing and how all the piping is routed. I forget what you are doing with your MAF setup but make sure its in the straightest shot of pipe possible. Is this a blow through or draw through setup? I forget.

And as always, safety first. K frame out with the car on jackstands can get dicey if you aren't careful.

It's a blow thru maf it's dead center of the inlet pipe to the throttle body. K-frame fit like a glove. We have everything mounted tomorrow it the routing of the exhaust side so that's the pics that will show more fit and finish but so far the on3 kits tight and no issues at all!

It is a blow thru maf. Everything but the hot side is mounted and I still haven't gotten my cast camber plates in so that will be the last hold up. So far the on3 kit fits like a glove with no issues at all! More pics to follow

Curious, how much does the entire kit weigh? If you happened to weigh it, or know that from shipping tracking or such.

That red fox looks like a creeper, checking out the underside of your car, lol. Looks good man, Im sooo jealous. I know you have been planning this for a while so I hope it works out great for you and you enjoy it!

I still want to head down to Carolina Dyno for a vacation one day and have them throw a single On3 kit on one of mine. $5k turn key, tuned ready to go seems like a really good and fair price for a On3 single set up. Maybe you can talk them into a forum discount! I know in a year or so after saving some funds I could talk my wife into heading there for a vacation and a turbo, no joke I would love to do it! Obviously it would take some planning etc to have it set up for the right week etc.

Thanks for posting your progress and letting us enjoy your build even if some of us may be a little jealous and hate you right now. Looking forward to more pics and the final result in a few days.

Randy Haywood is the tuner and the man in the picture. If you google him he has a long history of mustang success. Damn good guy and a ton of knowledge. I'll post his shop number on her tomorrow he's really cool to talk to very laid back and like I said he he's the man with a mustang or any v8 setup. There's three cars at his shop now people bring him from states away to have him set up suspension and tune and we'll add turbos lol

Congrats on the build! Love these types of threads! Is the motor fresh or is it 13yrs old as well? Mileage? Always good to have a good shop name/number used by a member.

Fitment was good till the last down pipe going to have to cut it and make a small adjustment. Other than that we are done except vacuum lines and wiring the scavenger pump. And of course some Dyno time then pup the bumper on. Next weekend I install my 373 gears replace the carbon discs so no more one wheel peel and I hope to ruin a set of tires! Lol then I continue on building my motor I have block rods crank and heads still a long way to go! MONEY MONEY MONEY! Already have a guy at the shop with a coyote calling me out lol

Pop the engine and you could totally fool someone if you had something blocking the grille so they couldn't see the BOV and the bumper openings for the intercooler.

Yup. Paint the radiator and the intercooler black and they will all blend in nicely. Stealth mode.

Honestly, in my experience, nobody gives these cars any respect at all unless they have a snake on them. I have said it before and I'll say it again, the biggest sleeper you can have is a car that says 4.6L GT on the side of it, especially a 96-98. I dunno how many people I surprised with my blue 98 GT. Way more power than me, get them off the line they freak out, panic, spin and I laugh and let off the gas.

And believe me I'm not about to think a 2V with a stockish engine and a power adder is going to be able to keep up with a basic modded Coyote or cam swap F body if the driver knows what they are doing but they are also nothing to sneeze at.
