3 inch cowl hood

Anyone familiar with the dura flex or truefiber 3 inch cowl hood? The last two hoods I bought flew off and currently looking for a 3 inch cowl hood.

Because I did not have hood pins lol. The latch came off and ripped my hinges right out. The first hood actually split apart. The top flew off but the bottom piece stay bolted on. I called the company (abcexclusive) and they sent me another hood. We thought.. Bad glue lol. I put the second hood on and going about 60 on the interstate it flies off. The first time it smashed my windshield. And dented my hood. It was bad.

I had bought the 2.5 inch cobra r hood. I want a 3 inch now since i have to get another hood. I bummed out because this money is suppose to be for my supercharger build. Hoods are not cheap and especially to paint and prep the Crappy quality fiberglass hoods.

Its not because you didn't have pins, its because you had **** hoods. Get a Cervinis hood and stop worrying about it and don't have to deal with pins.

Kanen has a nice cowl hood...good quality from what I have heard...but I have no first hand experience with them.
