Cai for 04 gt

Steeda vs JLT. No tune yet, but going to be getting a lund tune or a custom dyno tune soon after.

Keep the stock one and buy something else, lol. The stock one is actually good. Get a Summit TB/Plenum set up instead, made by trickflow.

My 03 has a BBK cai on it, was on it when I got it a couple months ago. The stock one is in the trunk, I probably will put it back on but I may wait a little bit to see how the BBK is. The unfortunate thing is the BBK has been on for 5 yrs, but only driven 500 or so miles, garage kept and its already pitting.

What are your thoughts about the 78 mm bbk tb ? Isn't it big enough that I don't need the upper plenum from trick flow

Its OK. Like Geno said get the one from Summit and you will be all set. I havent checked the price on it lately but I think its still under $300

And again there is nothing wrong with getting the CAI too if thats what you want or like the looks/sound. It just wont do much for you in the end.

I want what's best for the car in the long run. The price is around 280 so I think I'm just going to go with that & hold off on the CAI

The TFS combo 75mm is $279. If you get the Summit TB instead and buy the TFS plenum from LRS for $102 after discount you wind up paying like $260.

CAI I would hold off till later.
