Thanks everyone. Real happy with the way the setup turned out. The H&R SuperSports paired with the Konis on the middle setting rides as good if not better than the stock setup.

Your car looks so awesome as others have said. Its making me question what I was planning on doing as far as my lowering goes. I may blow my budget or have some things wait until next year and copy what you have done. Your pics have had a STRONG impact on my thought process. I may even have some little dreams tonight that your car is mine, lol. One day Ill have a Mach, still have the one for sale down the road taunting me daily as I drive by it. But looks even better than I could imagine that it would with the Rovos. Im gonna try a poor mans take on yours, haha with my cheap as hell MMDs. I will be a poor mans silverpony03

Haha thanks man, appreciate the love. I did extensive research getting the drop the way I wanted it. It also helped to have a similar setup on my other car. I will say I originally had no intentions of dropping the car as low as I did, which is why I started with the SR springs. But after seeing several Machs with Super Sports and coilovers I knew she had to get lower. Obviously a real low stance isn't great for launches etc., but the car will be a street car more than a drag car for now. If an engine rebuild is needed, then her "purpose" might change.

Also neither of my cars are daily drivers so having to alter my driving habits isn't a big deal to me. That might not be the case for everyone, so I always tell people to consider that before going that low on a fixed setup. The same for larger wheels/tires. 17's are much better for a daily car then 18's, for cost and efficiency.

And there's nothing wrong with the MMD's. I was actually ticked when I saw that sale because they would have still looked great on the car, especially at that price! Yours will look badass with them on. Even with a moderate drop, it will be a huge improvement over stock.

I agree sometimes you can go to low, Ive done it before on another car back in fast and furious days, haha. The 03 isnt going to be a daily, probably drive it half the week or so for about 5 mths or so, plus my 96 a couple days a week too. Maybe sell one at the end of summer, who knows. But yeah I like the MMDs but the Rovos are nicer, but waaay out of my price range since Im impatient and dont want to wait until next year for wheels. Im going to do either the H&R Supersports (already on my 96), Eibach Sportlines, or SRs on the 03. I keep going back and forth. If SRs then no isos, if either of the other 2, Id probably run hald the isos or something. Just dont want it too low, my 96 is on the borderline of being too low at times so I may keep the 03 a little higher. Also a little taller tire may be an option too like Ive mentioned 10k times just havent found the right combo yet on that part. Want a 26.7 in the rear, and a 26.3 or so in the front. Just have to bite the bullet and pay more than I wanted to, and get the tires I will need. Thanks for all the info and again your car looks so freakin sweet!!
