Finally dropped my baby

Installed ford racing c springs left the isos out what do y'all think I like the stance looks aggressive to me.

Looks pretty good, just need to get some wheels to compliment the drop and you'll be set

Looks real good. The C springs are a great moderate drop spring.

I agree. Some new wheels would really set it off. Chrome or Anthracite with True Blue is the sh*t.

Yes having an extra set of hands helps a lot especially in the rear to get the rearend to line back up with the control arm it took us about 2hours with breaks

Ok like how much more of a drop do you think it would be if i removed the stock isolators, the springs are rated to be 1/5" drop , what are isolators suppose to do anyways lol?

Up to 1/2 inch more or so isolators help with noise vibration harshness but I just wrapped the first 6 inches of the top and bottom of the spring with electrical tape and I have no nvh

I m thinking 3/8 of an inch like just removing either the top or bottom part of the stock isolator just cause i ll worry that it will drag on bumps and sidewalks if its too low

Looks good man. I love that dark blue. Sonic is right on the money with the Anthracite colored wheels or even like what he recently put on his Mach, Rovos Durbans satin gunmental. Your painted stock wheels look good though too. If you get a quality hub centric spacer maybe a 1" the back would look even better, bring the wheel out just enough. May be an option for a little while looks wise until you want to buy wheels. How much did C springs drop it without the isos?

Just interested, did you have it aligned yet? I dont remember if you put in CC plates or not? Getting ready to order some springs for my 03, probably sticking with 1.5" lower and no isos, so approx 1.75 in front like your setup. Also did you change out the shocks/struts? If I go 1.5" Ill probably leave the new OEM ones that were installed by the PO in there. Just wondering how it rides, performs for normal street driving etc. Thanks!

Alignment is good no cc plates was gonna change to my toniko struts but didn't have access to a impact gun so I'll change them later struts are still good though and my shocks are new rides great a little more stiff ride which is normal when you lower the car and performs well on the street

Thats good info for me, I would be doing the same as you with maybe the SRs 1.5" + no isos, when I do it. If they can get the aligment close to spec then I would be very happy without CC plates right now. Looking at coilovers for the future, maybe next couple of years, then the whole susepension would be done, subframes, LCAs, etc. Don't want to spend a fortune if Im going that route.
