Genuine Ford parts fit... Awful?

Bought some new interior door handle pieces to replace my busted up ones. I opted for genuine Ford parts instead of the cheaper AM/LMR ones.

They fit awful.

I have already contacted the seller (eBay purchase) but here are the pictures of what I'm talking about. Is there a trick here I'm missing?

I know... It's not wanting to fit, obviously.

They are either not OEM or you are not pushing them in with enough force.

They've got Ford numbers and came in Ford packaging.

I've pushed as hard as I dare. The driver's side fits better, it was able to snap in place but sits high. It's almost like they are just too small/narrow?

I'm hoping to return these for refund or exchange for another set. I'll know more tomorrow.

Its very unlikely that both cups and both your door panels are warped. I dunno... I had zero issues with putting new OEM ones in JY panels I pulled out of a 95 V6 parts car.
