Ok, if they were the dark smoked I would say it won't matter cause you can't see sh*t anyways lol.

I have gone thru a few sets of headlights from them. Have not noticed it with headlights but I have the same issue on my fog lights. The passenger side is noticeably dimmer.

I'm sure you tried already, but did a vertical adjustment help any?

Try adjusting the headlamps maybe the aim is off.

My stock OEM fogs (have yellow lights in them) one is brighter than the other on my 96. Their adjusted right, just one is brighter than the other. Neither of them put out any usable light anyway. They are the I think Nokya yellow bulbs, may have the spelling wrong. But I put the stockers back in and they were like that also. Doesnt bother me too much, I dont really use them. It would bother me though if it were the headlights tho

My brother in law recently installed the LED headlight looms from LMR and they work real nice. Not a huge difference between low and high beam but the concentration is so much better than the factory halogen it really doesn't matter.

Ive been eyeballing the LED headlight kits on a few of the sites. Looks like for around $100 they can be had. I really have always had trouble seeing well in my 96 at night, Ive tried different halogen bulbs and still havent really seen a big difference. I know the LED fogs on my truck actually make a pretty good difference when on. Never have I had a car/truck where the fogs seemed to do much like the ones do on my current truck. Its new and I get that LED conversion kits may not be as good but I seriously try not driving my 96 at night cause the lighting is so bad. It has new headlight housings, new halogen bulbs (osram) whatever they are called and its better but still not great. I also have always have had poorer than average night vision.

Are your new headlight housings dark smoked or OEM? He had the dark smoked lights from AM and tried different halogens but visibility still sucked. He swapped them out for LMR's black headlights which have a black surround and clear corner marker but OEM smoked housing and visibility is amazing. He also did the conversion in the fogs too. I am considering the exact same setup now.

Mine are the AM "chrome Cobra style" their clear tho. They are brighter than the old ones were, they were slightly yellowed or fogged not horrible.
